I hope they never get rid of the classic stoneware. It is much easier to care for, you don't have to worry about scratching the glaze and I myself think the blacker it is, the prettier it is.

I'm afraid Nicole is right. I think they will be eliminating the classic stoneware (at least in the pieces that can be retired). I consider the classics the "neutral" stuff and I don't mind if it gets black. At least then people can tell I actually cooked.
