Need Southwestern Seasoning ASAP? Try These Substitutes! | Suggestions Included

In summary, there are several substitutes for Southwestern seasoning, including chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Regular salt and pepper can be used, but they will not provide the same depth of flavor. Other herbs, such as oregano, thyme, and cilantro, can also be used in combination with spices to create a similar taste. It is possible to make your own Southwestern seasoning at home by combining various spices. While using a substitute may not give the exact same taste, it can still enhance the overall flavor of the dish. It is best to use the recommended ingredients, but substitutes can be used in a pinch.

Thanks Ann! I am making salsa and I usually add 2 tsp just for added flavor, so I will just add a little taco seasoning!
