Ok I have a show tonight and I want to really and some new zip to it. I would love to try something new to really drum up some bookings. Anyone got anything new for me to try? I do the interactive show but what else. . .

How about asking everyone? That works for me.

Sounds like me! I have learned that you should ask an open ended question vs a close ended question - so, instead of saying "would you like to book a party?", ask "so when can we get your friends together for your party?"....of course, I haven't been great at doing this, but am getting better.

You could play a game for something different - I've attached a couple for you.

Or, you could have some sort of cook off between the guests, but you may need doubles of your stuff. I've never done these, so not sure how they work exactly.

Good luck tonight! Hope you have high sales and tons of bookings! :D

Make sure you mention the theme shows, or the recipe of the month that you're offering in August or September (whichever one you're trying to book). People won't pay attention if you say "we have theme shows." But if you take 30 seconds to tell them, "I'm so excited to teach Power Cooking in September. I'll show you and your friends how to make 3 meals in 45 minutes. Worried about entertaining? I can show you recipes from our great new Game Day Theme that will have everyone raving about your tailgate party!"

I love Queen of the Shoppers to liven up any show. The guests become quite competitive.
As for asking everybody....One tip I learned from my 3rd upline was..... at tally time, before asking each person, begin with some "yes" questions"
Did you have fun tonight?
Did you enjoy the food?
I bet it was nice to get out with your friends...
Did you see any products that are new to you? (interest you?)and so on. Ask 5 "yes" questions. Now they are on "yes" mode.
Next, instead of asking "would you like to book a cooking show?" Word it in a more inviting way... "I'd love to re-create this experience for you and your friends & help you get lots of free goodies" (or "how would you feel about getting a few of your friends together for a girls' night? I'd love to spoil you & your friends and get you some free products.")

Ann, do you have a Tailgate invite. Not the PC postcard invites (cause I don't have any of those right now). I want to print some off. I'm going to do a tailgate party at my kids football practice week after next week. I want to hand out some invites so they don't feel bombarded.

Thanks!

Bumping!

Does anyone have a tailgating invite?

Sorry, Sandra - my internet was down pretty much all day yesterday. No, I don't have a tailgate invite. I'm simplifying this year and using the printable invitations from CC. I can't believe there isn't one in the files.

GREAT ideas!! Thanks for sharing. I just had 2 shows and have gotten 3 bookings from each show. MY BIGGEST obstacle was leaving my family at the front door. SELL YOURSELF. Tell jokes, even if they are stupid..they will never know! Keep it snappy and keep the guests on their toes!!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some fun themes I can use for my interactive show?

Consider themes like "Taco Night," "Pizza Party," or "Healthy Meal Prep." Each theme allows you to showcase specific products while engaging your guests in a fun and interactive way. You can also incorporate seasonal themes, such as "Fall Harvest" or "Summer BBQ," to keep things fresh and relevant.

How can I encourage guest participation during the show?

Involve your guests by assigning them roles, such as chopping vegetables or mixing ingredients. You can also create small teams for a friendly competition, like who can assemble a dish the fastest. Offering small prizes for participation can further motivate guests to engage.

What recipes work best for an interactive show?

Choose simple, quick recipes that allow for multiple steps and can be easily demonstrated. Dishes like dips, appetizers, or no-bake desserts are great options. Make sure the recipes can be prepared in under an hour to keep the energy high and maintain guest interest.

How can I incorporate Pampered Chef products into my show?

Highlight key Pampered Chef products that are essential for your chosen recipes. Demonstrate how to use tools like the Food Chopper, Mix 'N Chop, or the Quick Slice during the preparation. This not only showcases the products but also provides practical tips on how they can make cooking easier and more enjoyable.

What should I do if guests are shy or hesitant to participate?

Start with icebreaker activities to help guests feel more comfortable. You can also lead by example, demonstrating enthusiasm and participation yourself. Encourage questions and make sure to praise any contributions, no matter how small, to build confidence among your guests.
