Another consultant and I are doing a booth at a pretty big bridal expo. Both of us have never done one beofre. What are some things that we should have on or table? And how to decorate?

All ideas are welcome!

I had never done one before, either. But I gathered boxes in various sizes, and white table-cloths, and draped the cloths over the boxes, to make platforms of varying heights to display my wares, the way caterers do. I had a ton of product; no one will stop if the display looks measly. I put tulips in the footed trifle bowl and colorful glitter sprinkles on the table. All my paperwork - business cards, shower brochures, everything - was in a product, so they couldn't take one without noticing the product.

But the best idea was to put some Hershey Kisses in the small non-stick skillet; my booth was by the door, so I stood outside it and stopped everyone as they came in - "Would you like a kiss?" - and held out the skillet for them to take one. EVERYONE took one and I got to chat them up for a little. Even the ones who weren't interested in the products remembered that they'd talked to me.

I also made up some quarter-sheet information slips with the name of the bride, date of the wedding, and name and contact information for the MoB, MiLoB, and MoH. When I got home, I had everything I needed and three names and phone numbers to call in case one flaked.

Samples of your work: If you offer any services such as wedding planning, floral arrangements, or photography, have some examples of your work on display. This will allow potential clients to see the quality of your work.8. Testimonials: Have some testimonials from previous clients displayed at your booth. This will help build trust and credibility with potential clients.9. Giveaways: Consider having a small giveaway to attract people to your booth. This could be a discount on your services, a free consultation, or a small wedding-themed item.10. Interactive elements: Make your booth interactive by having a game or activity for potential clients to participate in. This will help engage them and make your booth stand out from others.11. This will make your booth more welcoming and encourage people to stay longer.13. Tablecloth: Use a tablecloth that matches your brand and style. This will make your booth look more professional and put together.14. Lighting: Make sure your booth is well-lit so that potential clients can see your products and materials clearly.15.
