Make Your Show Shine: How to Add Life to Your Pampered Chef Gatherings

In summary, the conversation revolved around the format of Pampered Chef shows and how to keep them engaging. Some suggestions included having guests share fun facts, incorporating interactive games, and showing your own personality. The key is to keep the energy high and make sure to leave time for guests to ask questions and place orders.

Hi Ladies,

I am wondering how some of you format your shows? Prior to signing up as a PC consultant, I had only been to one show and that was about 6 years ago, when I was fresh out of college. My director has invited me to several of her shows, but they have all been at conflicting times for my family's schedule. So I am wondering at what point you do/say things and if you play games, etc.

Here is the format I used for my first three shows that seems to have worked pretty well (but, to be honest, was a little boring):

Open - introduce self, thank host, have guests introduce themselves and tell their favorite PC product, introduce business opportunity and hosting benefits and host/guest specials for the month

Demonstration - demo host's chosen recipe asking for volunteers to assist with steps

Close - hand out catalogs, go over business opportunity and hosting benefits one last time, do door prize drawing using the drawing slip, invite guests to eat and checkout when ready

Can you all give me some pointers about how to interject some more life into shows? What type of format do you use?

I give the business information and host benefits talk at the end of my shows. That way it's one of the last things they hear right before they check out.

how do you keep guests from "hijacking" your schedule?

Answer a question or a particular comment, then get right back to your own schedule.

Hi there!

First of all, congratulations on becoming a Pampered Chef consultant! It's such a rewarding and fun business to be a part of. As for formatting your shows, it sounds like you have a good foundation to work with. I personally like to mix things up a bit to keep the energy and engagement levels high throughout the show. Here are a few suggestions that have worked for me:- Instead of having guests just introduce themselves, you could have them share a fun fact about themselves or their favorite kitchen gadget. This can help break the ice and get everyone laughing and interacting.
- During the demonstration, you could ask guests to share their own tips or variations on the recipe being prepared. This not only adds some variety to the demo, but also shows that the products can be used in different ways.
- Consider incorporating some interactive games or activities throughout the show. This could be something like a trivia game about Pampered Chef products or a "guess the ingredient" game during the demo. These types of games can be a fun way to get guests involved and learning more about the products.
- Don't be afraid to show your personality and have fun with the guests. People are drawn to genuine and enthusiastic personalities, so don't be afraid to let your personality shine through during the show.
- Lastly, make sure to leave some time at the end for guests to mingle, ask questions, and place orders. This can also be a great time to share any upcoming specials or promotions.Overall, the most important thing is to be yourself and have fun with it. Your passion for the products and the business will shine through and make for a great show. Best of luck with your future shows!
