Lost Anniversary Band: Help Me Find My Precious Ring!

Could you guys send some prayers out that I find my anniversary band? My youngest DS (little klepto that he is:grumpy: ) picked it up off the coffee table Wednesday & we haven't been able to find it since! :cry:

I know it's a trivial thing but DH gave that ring to me on our 10th anniversary & I feel naked without it!:cry: Though it could've been worse & DS could've taken my 60+ year old engagment ring. Why the boy likes me rings I'll never understand...

I'm just hoping we find it soon & it didn't get sucked up in the vacuum...I really don't want to have to cut open the bag to find out.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Say a prayer to St. Anthony---it will show up once you do that. Has always worked for me.

I had the bright idea to re-check the jeans he was wearing the day he took it & there it was, stuck in the corner of the pocket! Needless to say, I will be more careful when I take it off & put in where the little monster can't get it.

That makes 2 of us...DH wasn't too happy when I told DS had taken it. But he likes to swipe Dad's too so DH couldn't say too much.

Kathi, I will pray that it is found. DH bought me one on our 8th anniversary (since we only have one every 8 years) and I can't wear it because I've gotten too fluffy- I feel bad enough about that- so I know how terrible you must feel that it has been lost! Prayers for angels to come and show you where it is...

Umm...at the risk of sounding completely stupid...why do you only have one every 8 yrs?
I know what you mean about being fluffy...I have a gorgeous 60+ or 70+ yr old engagement ring that I haven't been able to wear for about 5 yrs now. Gained alot of weight after DS #2, had to do hormone replacement & the fluffy followed. Now the fluffy is SLOWLY becoming less but not enough to wear the ring again yet.

My youngest DS stole a pair of diamond studs about 8 or 9 years ago. My best friend and I looked EVERYWHERE....garbage cans (DS threw everything in there), the vacuum, air conditioners...no diamonds. DH swore he wouldn't buy me jewelry again after that.....but I think because I didn't tell him for so long.

Oh...my bands are over 100 years old....my wedding band was my great grandfathers and my engagement ring belonged to my great grandmother. I love that I was gifted with something so special..........
