Looking for Kristi Tarducci - Re: Shared Customer

Click For Summary
A guest at a Pampered Chef show disrupted the event by promoting her Partylite business and collecting orders before the host's guests could place their orders. This behavior sparked outrage among attendees, highlighting the rudeness of soliciting sales at someone else's party. Many participants expressed disapproval and discussed the ethical implications of such actions, referencing the Direct Selling Association's code of ethics, which emphasizes respect for other consultants' businesses. The general consensus is that while discreetly discussing business can be acceptable, overt solicitation during a show is inappropriate. Participants shared personal experiences of navigating similar situations, emphasizing the importance of maintaining professionalism and respect in direct sales environments.
That's cool Linda!

I do that when I am at one of the shows hosted by a friend who is a LS cons. Especially if people arent asking many q's.

I think I would have called her on that one! That is rude, and was not the time nor place to conduct business. She should have spoken with you first!

I did a show for a MK Consultant and she had the nerve to repeatly try and recruit me while I was doing my PC demo. I happen to LOVE MK but because of her behavior during my presentation I refused to use her as my consultant after this. Some people have no manners and are just RUDE!

That's crazy and rude. I can't believe it!!

I am so sorry about that. Well I just recruited a friend and at her first show her Partylite aunt decided to whip out her catalogs and start talking about specials for the month and booking her own shows too. It was awful. I guess she thought since they were related it was ok. Her son even made a comment like "I thought this was a PC show?"
She defensively said "It's over already!"

It was sad. I know some people are so pushy and desperate that it really shows and actually makes me feel sorry for them because eventually their social circle will dwindle down dramatically from all the hounding and harrassment.
