I've heard from 2 people lately that when they put their SS Bowls in the fridge with the lids on- they lift up. Both of these people got replacement lids and the same thing happened. I don't use mine in the fridge. Is this really common?
Are there any fixes???
Thanks!

I use mine in the fridge all the time when I'm prepping a recipe or something and have never had this occur. Sorry I don't have an answer for you.

I have one in the fridge right now, it is staying well.

never had this problem before

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear that you and others are experiencing issues with the lids on the SS Bowls. I have not personally encountered this issue, but I will definitely look into it and see if there are any common fixes. In the meantime, I would recommend reaching out to our customer service team for assistance and possibly getting a replacement lid that is specifically designed for fridge use. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the common issues with lifting SS bowl lids in the fridge?

Common issues include difficulty in sealing properly, lids popping off due to pressure changes, and food odors escaping. These problems can arise from improper placement in the fridge or overfilling the bowls.

How can I ensure my SS bowl lids seal properly in the fridge?

To ensure a proper seal, make sure the rim of the bowl is clean and free of food particles. Press down firmly on the lid until you hear a click, indicating that it is securely sealed. Avoid overfilling the bowls, as this can prevent the lid from sealing correctly.

What should I do if the lid pops off while in the fridge?

If the lid pops off, check for any food debris on the rim that may prevent a proper seal. Clean the rim and the lid, then reattach the lid securely. If the problem persists, consider adjusting the placement of the bowls in the fridge to avoid pressure changes.

Are there any specific storage tips for SS bowls in the fridge?

Yes, store SS bowls on a flat surface and avoid stacking them too high. Keep them away from items that may press against the lids, and ensure there is enough space for air circulation to prevent pressure buildup.

Can I use SS bowls for hot foods before placing them in the fridge?

It is not recommended to place hot foods directly into SS bowls and then into the fridge, as this can cause condensation and pressure buildup, leading to lid issues. Allow food to cool to room temperature before sealing and refrigerating.
