GOALS for the 2nd 1/2 of 2008

Thought if we put it in writing you could all help keep us to it!!!! ;)

Bummer...we didn't make it to $3000 for the sell-a-thon. We made it to $2300 and have a $200 show to close out still.

But we looked at our number this year compared to last year:
June 2007 - 2 small shows (both family) $392.90 in sales
June 2008 - 5 shows (NO FAMILY) $2299.95 in closed & submitted sales (1 more to submit)

2007 YTD Jan - Jun $982.90 in sales
2008 YTD Jan - Jun $7014.22 in sales

Amazing what you can do when you even put a little effort into the business. Now we need to kick it up a notch in the 2nd half of the year since that is when we changed our attitude last year & decided to not be the types of consultants that submitted their required every 2 months.

2007 Jul - Dec $9793.37 in sales 2008 Jul - Dec GOAL $15,000 in sales
2007 Total Sales = $10,776.27 2008 Total Sales GOAL = $22,000.00
2007 = 27 Total Shows 2008 Total Shows Goal = 50

The only thing we still don't have is recruits. Here's hoping for the rest of the year.

Have a great 4th!!!!!!!! Here's to a GRATE rest of 2008 for all of us!!!!!!!:sing:

Great Idea Joe but make sure with your goal of $22k, you have 23k points b/c then you earn Level 1 in the trip!

Okay for:

Jan-Jun 2007 my sales were $14,848.62 29 shows
Jan-Jun 2008 my sales are $13,901.68 27 shows

Not too bad of a difference with the economy pinch. I did 54 shows total last year so now my goal this year is to hit 70 shows.

Cool thread, we haven't done this type before. Makes me set a new goal for myself so THANK YOU!

Wow, more than half of my sales for this year were in May and June. I know I didn't have a great start to this year (did over $1000 each month) but I kicked butt the last two months. I'm hoping to keep it going. I have 5 shows in July (around conference and another vacation) and two already for August.

As I look at my numbers, they don't seem to jive, or even seem remotely possible to achieve, but a girl can dream! I had a few months of totally being uncaring about my business (after Mom passed away), but I'm back in the game now and realize that I MUST work SUPER hard to meet my goals. I want to earn the trip to Aruba (at least for myself) AND I want to become Director.

Thank you for starting this thread. I've been putting off writing my goals down (for this reason....because it's scary to see the numbers!!), but it must be done, and now they must be achieved!

Good luck everyone in making your dreams a reality! :D

I just started in March, so I don't have a history to compare (and, my first 4 months aren't crow worthy). Here are my goals:

Jul 1 - Dec 31 2008 = 30 shows / $15,000 commissionable sales
4 recruits

Hmmm, I better get moving!!

Thanks, I'm going to need that support!! I had 3 shows lined up during 'that' week of July. One of the hosts will not return my calls to confirm the date, and another one just sent me an e-mail to cancel indefinitely (she didn't give details, but said she had some problems and doesn't have a place to hold the show, so I can't really blame her). That means I have to replace those two shows , plus book another two :(, and I'm on vacation out of state week after next (which is why I'm not going to NC). This means I have to start talking to complete strangers, and I'm sooo not the extroverted type! :yuck:

God is in control, and He did not give me a spirit of fear. God is in control, and He did not give me a spirit of fear. Breathe.

Great thread!

Here are my numbers for the first half of the year:

Jan - June 2007: $13,124.25 (24 shows)

Jan - June 2008: $10,945.03 (18 shows + working a FT job)

Last year for the 2nd half of the year:

July - Dec 2007: $13,225.73 (19 shows)

July - Dec 2008 GOAL: $10,000 (approx. 15 - 18 shows)

That's weird that I had almost identical sales for the first and second halves of 2007, even though I went back to work FT in Sept., 07!! I guess I can do $10,000 more this year! (I only need $5000 more to make Level 1, and have 2 recruits, so I'll definitely get that - Wahoo - Bose iPod speakers, here I come!)
