I was pinning a recipe (love Pinterest), and saw a little blurb on the page that said "you might enjoy this post too." So I clicked on it, and this is what it was:

So - this lady has a blog, and is linking from her blog to a consultant's website...this is grey area to me. I'm trying to decide if this is something that is "legal" or not.

I don't like it but HO would have to decide this one. IMHO, I don't like it but if HO doesn't mind...

It's definitely a grey area and it's up to the individual's interpretation. Some might argue that it's just a harmless recommendation and a way for the blogger to potentially make some money through affiliate links. Others might see it as a sneaky way to promote a product or service without explicitly stating it. Ultimately, it's important for bloggers to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and for readers to use their own discretion when clicking on links.
