I am trying to import my contact list from p3 to my website. It seems pretty easy but it keeps comming up withan erroe of corrupt list or wrong file chossen what in the would am I doing wrong? Please help

Jaime,

I exported from PP so I'm not sure how it works with P3.

I suggest calling Tech Support--they can walk you through it. 888-687-2433

I called Tech support about the same thing. I thought it might be because I am using Vista, but they said they are working on importing contacts from P3 into the website, but currently this feature is not available. When it is, we will be notified. Bummer! It sure is time consuming to do double entry.

Oh, so that's why I can't do it. I've been thinking I was just being really slow. What a pain!

Actually, this thread is pretty old - from last November. Unless I am misunderstanding the question, I have sent my contact list from P3 to my website by using the Personal Website Synchronization button in P3. HTH.

I think they have updated it fairly recently and you can do it now. I haven't tried it, but I am pretty sure I saw it somewhere that they made an enhancement to allow importing.

Thanks, I just did it!!! I've been trying to import my contacts the old way and it just didn't work. Thanks ladies!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if I encounter an error while importing contacts from P3 to the website?

If you encounter an error during the import process, first check the error message for specific details. Common issues include incorrect file formats or missing required fields. Ensure that your contact list is formatted correctly and that all necessary information is included before attempting the import again.

How can I verify that my contact list is in the correct format for importing?

To verify that your contact list is in the correct format, refer to the import guidelines provided by Pampered Chef. Typically, the list should be in a CSV format with specific headers such as Name, Email, Phone Number, etc. Make sure there are no extra spaces or special characters that could cause issues during the import.

What does it mean if the import process is stuck or takes too long?

If the import process is stuck or taking an unusually long time, it may indicate a large file size or server issues. Try refreshing the page or checking your internet connection. If the problem persists, consider breaking your contact list into smaller batches and importing them separately.

Are there any specific error codes I should be aware of when importing contacts?

Yes, there are several common error codes you might encounter, such as "Invalid Email Format" or "Missing Required Fields." Each code typically has a corresponding solution. Refer to the troubleshooting section of the Pampered Chef support site for a complete list of error codes and their meanings.

Who can I contact for further assistance if I cannot resolve the import errors?

If you are unable to resolve the import errors on your own, you can reach out to Pampered Chef's customer support team. They can provide you with personalized assistance and help troubleshoot any issues you are experiencing with the import process.
