Consultants looking for relatable experiences regarding sales goals and the challenges faced in achieving them may find this discussion insightful.

I am $500 away from the $3000 level. The sad thing is that I have the show and it is ready to close....but they aren't sending me the payment until FRIDAY!!! It comes to almost $700 total with shipping and tax. I would LOVE to submit the show to reach the $3000 level but I'm not sure it's worth having to worry over getting the money before it's deducted from my account or having to put my own $$$ up front.

I know, I should be happy with the $1500 level, right? This order would make this my biggest month yet!!! ugghh... Frustrated!

Since it's such a big show - I would definitely wait on getting payment. If something were to go wrong and you didn't get payment (and the host got the show delivered by then) - you'd hate to have to worry about that. Also the $1500 level is always good as well - and if you love something in the higher packages you could always get it at 50% when they have the sample packages together for fall. Or have a show in the fall and get it for free:) Great job! I got to $2850 this month (however $561 was from a May show so I wasn't close to the $3000 level. I'm happy getting anything for free - it's a awesome feeling!

I bit the bullet and spent about $66 of my own - one of which is really for someone at $22.50 if they want it. $18 is for a door prize for an event in August so I'm a little prepared. I also ordered Ginger Wasabi...will have to find some of the recipes! I hope the $1,500 is worth at least $66! :)

I just submitted my "mystery host show" and it put me at $1,700! Yeah! Free stuff and $$$ for conf. ! :)

This is my first SAT and I sooooo wanted to hit the $3000 level. I had 3 shows bail on me for medical reasons as well. What is with people getting sick or passing away in the summer???!!!!! Oh well $300 away from $3,000 Not worth it to me to have DH order when we can buy the whole kit and cabood for less I hope. Oh well, I will have to really plan ahead harder for Nov SAT. Congrats to all and to all a good nite!!! heeeheee

I always have a harder time achieving June SAT than Nov SAT.;)

Made the $1500 level and..... closed 2 of my 4 June shows on TRIPLE POINTS DAYS!!! I'm now halfway to Level 1! I even have 1 recruit who's trying to qualify in her first 30 days and a potential recruit who's going to host for the first time in July!!!!!!!! She's looking over the info this weekend...

WOW! With lots of changes suddenly hitting our family, I needed the boost!
NC... Here I come!

Trish, that's awesome! Best of luck! I'm hoping to start to make some good progress!

Just managed to get all my orders in. Thank goodness it takes orders in CST and not EST as its 12:05am EST. If we're talking making it by the skin of our teeth...how about I'm over the $3000 level by $2.31. I cut it close on time and dollars. If P3 was not so darn slow (understatement) I could do things much faster but spend 90% of the time saying "come on already...today!". :)

And just a side note: Whoever created the saying "by the skin of our teeth"...maybe because I'm super tired but...Does that saying really make sense? Skin of our teeth? Enamel, yes. Skin? Ok - one of those things you just roll with I guess.

First month calendar month done. Yay!

Congrats to everyone who had a fantastic month or who met any of their personal goals.

Deborah- Thank you! And best wishes to you too!

Melissa- WOW! Congrats!!!

Regarding "skin of one's teeth", it refers to a phrase in the Book of Job and the phrase has been used ever since to mean a very narrow or arduous escape...
It's OK... get some sleep (if you're not too excited!!!) and celebrate in the morning! Maybe light a sparkler this weekend!

Way to go Melissa!! Congrats on SOOO Many Levels! Hitting $3000 for SAT month, Your 1st submitted show, your 1st 30 days....super! Say hello PCD!!! :D

I knew you were going to thrive and soar!

Melissa78 I can feel your anxiety and excitement!! LOL! I just made it to the $3000 level by the skin of my teeth, too. I was waiting on my last hostess to pick out what she wanted. She emailed me her order at 12:30 ET. I got it submitted just in the nick of time according to CT. Whew! The first time I've ever hit the $3000 mark for SAT!

I had 5 mins to submitt my last show which got me to the 3k mark

Made it. Barely. Seriously, I think it is by about $1.50. But, I made my goal.

I entered two orders last night but have yet to receive confirmation or see it online...do I need to worry? Or are they just swamped? I'm nervous; they got me to $1500!

If it says submitted in P3 and has a check mark next to it you should be fine. I was doing the same thing last night. I kept checking and not seeing it show up on CC. It did this morning under the incentives and on the shipment page. ;)

Check your Incentives Calculator on CC - that's where mine always shows up first! When it isn't showing up any place else, I check there - if it's there, than you are fine!

Update on my "plea" email...

It garnered me $210 in on line orders, hairdresser bought $70, another customer needed scrapers, so I ended up the month at $1650. All in all, I am ok with that.

For those that don't send out newsletters, it might be worth your time to check into it. People will help when asked.

I submitted over $6200!!! I have NEVER done over $4500 before and I am THRILLED! I had some GREAT hosts and an awesome fundraiser on Sunday and that pushed it! I"m so excited I don't know what to do w/ myself...I couldn't sleep last night! LOL OH! AND for the FIRST time EVER, I hit a triple points day for last week on a $600 show, that put me into Sept for tracking Disney!

Now, if only my July was better..I only have 4 shows...:( July 4th and conference kind of screwed things up for me, but oh well...

Perhaps I celebrated too soon last night. :( My final show of the 4 submitted last night has yet to show up on CC in any way other than it is listed on the shipment status link. All 4 shows show on P3 as submitted and the check mark is there HOWEVER all 4 have a little exclamation point by them (even those showing up on CC). The show that has not posted - the host let me know today that the show already appeared on her bank account. Withought this show (my largest at $800) I'm not over the $3000.

I think the anxiety I experienced with this issue today has shaved years off of my life. I hope this gets easier in the future and that P3 will work faster b/c I cannot stand how slow of a program it is.

I hit over $4k, wanted to hit $6k, but I'm thrilled to get the package I'll get. BUT, I was even more excited to find out that my $1,300+ show was a triple point day!!!!!! I'm so psyched!!!!! :D

As long as it's listed on the Shipment status, I think you are fine. Do you know where to look to see if there is a declined CC?

The little exclamation point isn't anything to really worry about. A red dot is though! The excl. point means that someone's order has a backordered product on it, or if the host paid for someone else's order, and that person's order is showing unpaid, you'll have it then too....

Thanks Becky. All of my hosts paid for the show on a cc/debit so I have many guests who appear to be unpaid. That must be the exclamation point issue.

As for where to look for declined credit cards - I haven't the first clue. Any insight? If there is a credit card issue, if i resolve it do I still get the credit for the show being submitted on the 30th?

Andrea- Congrats on an awesome show ($1300) and for hitting a Triple Points Day. I was hoping that they would save a day for the last day knowing that I had several to close then but luck usually is not on my side. Kudos to you!

Thanks for the explanation! I've always known the meaning (or at least the gist of it) but never knew where/how it originated. I learned something new today. :)

Hmmm, do you mean that the WHOLE show was paid on one credit card?

That could be an issue. I had a show that was put on hold once, because of that same thing. (Long distance cat. show, and the host just collected the $$ and put it on her card.) I was told by Finance that technically this is not allowed. It doesn't always get caught, but when it does, the show is put on hold. I had to call myself to find out why the show was on hold for that one.

If you use the same CC, but actually input it for each of the individual orders, I was told that then there would be no problem. The show just has to show more than one payment.

*so confused now*

The order had 4 other credit card payments on it (from guests) and then yes, she collected the checks and cash and paid for it all by debit. The other 3 shows went thru and I did the same there, perhaps they just were not as big. But also, the transaction was already on her account this morning so if it was a problem would PC run the order thru?

Ugh...

Nope - that's not the problem then, because if it had other CC payments, then it's fine. The WHOLE show just can't be on one payment. If the transaction has gone through her account, then I would think that it's fine. Was it really late when you sent it? They just may be dealing with a huge influx of last minute transmissions and it's taking a while to get it all done.

Have you checked your Incentives Calculator? That is always how I can tell if something has been received and is all okay - because they won't give you those incentive points if there is still an issue!

Becky - If I could reach out and give you a HUGE hug I would. I found the incentives calculator and *whew* I have 3,003 points for June (or should I say for my career). My blood pressure can now come down a few points.

I greatly thank you for your help.

I'm very computer savy but I have to say the amount of online training/resources avail for P3 and CC is very poor for the amount of training they have on the products. Granted, I do realize the products are their business but more details on their software and many uses would be very helpful to many I'm sure (especially us newbies who are already trying to learn a billion things). I know - everyone has been there at least once. Just my venting for a second or two.

Since you are so savvy....any idea if I can load my p3 info from my laptop onto my desktop? I need to send my laptop out for a new DVD player and wanted to still have access while its gone for repair. I tried to do a back up onto a SD card and then put that in the desktop but it didn't work (or its user error) :)

Muchas gracias again! You have made me a very happy woman! Now I feel I can truly celebrate my first big accomplishment.

Hmmm, I don't know - you should be able to load it. When I was changing computers, I copied mine to a CD and loaded it on the new computer...Glad I could help ease your mind. I know that I always frantically check my stats when I am trying to reach a goal! Good Job on your great start! Did you sign in June? Does this mean that you also qualified in your first 30 days and get the $100 in new product on top of what you earned in SAT?

To burn it to a cd (I can do that if the DVD player will work) - what files did you copy?

Yes I just joined on June 1, had my grand opening on the 6th so I have qualified now and am eligible for the $100 in fall products (I just hope they don't duplicate what I would get from the SAT but beggars can't be choosers). Also I get the free days added to my PWS (as I already purchased it) and I would guess now I am eligible for outside orders and outlet on the PWS. I desperately need supplies, I hope I get some of my PCD I earned soon.

I'm very excited to also be going to NC next week. I highly doubt I can still make Disney a reality so at this point, I guess I'm working hard for free NC registration next year. $200 bucks is $200.

You used the right word....I have been frantic today without exaggeration. You rock!
