I am struggling for bookings, and really want to hold a (inexpensive) booth for some exposure. I'm not sure where to look to find events where booths are held.....any ideas or experiences? TIA!

Re: BoothsTia, Have you looked in your local papers. We get fairs starting in March and go right on through to year end. If not there check to see if there is an on-line listing for fairs in your area or check local churches, they are good for a fair or two. Hope this helps.

Re: BoothsThanks! I wouldn't have thought of the churches

Re: BoothsGo to the local hospital. Setup a table with It's Good For You cookbook and catalogs and pursue a Cooking Light theme (stainless or nonstick cookware!)

Re: BoothsThe hospital would let us do that?! Cool!!!

Re: BoothsAlso check your local high schools. Alot of clubs are holding fairs now (I'm doing one on 3/21 for one's school's student trip to Spain, there's another one for another school's band boosters at the end of May). Our local volunteer fire departments also have fairs or yard sales to raise funds.
