I am doing my first fundraiser for my hockey team on Feb 1st. How long will it take for HO to deliver the cheque to our team? Can the cheque be payable to the treasurer? I figure that we should have about $1500-2000 in sales. How can I ensure that we get the biggest bang for the buck? Any suggestions to increase profits? I am willing to donate my commission along with the 15% fundraiser....or should I submit as a cooking show, and donate all my commission? We need the money for a tournament on Feb 24?
Thanks

Hi, I have only done one fundraiser before and I submitted it as a cooking show and donated my whole commission. This way the organization got a cheque from me, pretty well right away. Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks. I guess I would be easier to submit as regular show..... What about taking the host product value and raffling off products?

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start planning my fundraiser for my hockey team?

Begin by setting clear goals for your fundraiser, such as how much money you want to raise. Next, choose a date and time for your event, and ensure it doesn't conflict with any team activities. Create a list of potential participants, including team members, parents, and community supporters, and inform them about the fundraiser details.

What products should I choose to sell for the fundraiser?

Select popular Pampered Chef products that appeal to your audience. Consider kitchen tools, cookbooks, and food items that are easy to demonstrate and showcase. You can also create a special bundle or package that highlights items perfect for game day or family meals.

How can I promote my fundraiser effectively?

Utilize social media platforms, email newsletters, and flyers to spread the word about your fundraiser. Encourage team members and parents to share the event with their networks. You can also host a kickoff event or cooking demonstration to generate excitement and showcase the products.

What are some tips for hosting a successful Pampered Chef party during the fundraiser?

Engage your guests with interactive cooking demonstrations and tastings. Make sure to create a welcoming atmosphere and encourage questions. Offer incentives, such as raffle prizes or discounts on future purchases, to motivate attendees to buy products during the event.

How do I handle orders and payments for the fundraiser?

Set up a clear system for taking orders, whether through an online platform or paper order forms. Make sure to communicate payment options, such as credit cards or cash, and establish a deadline for orders. Once the fundraiser is complete, organize the orders for delivery and ensure timely communication with customers regarding their purchases.
