Any advice on how to get in on local brial expos or local fairs? I know that the first place I should turn is my director and I have- she really didn't say much about it. I don't think she really does them much. I will try again, but thought I would ask you guys.

I just searched online for bridal expos in the area and just contacted them myself to ask if they had openings and for pricing info etc.

Sometimes you just need to do the leg-work yourself - I managed to get into two shows and the rest were already booked for the rest of the year!

Good luck!

Local newspapers, city halls, convention centers, civic centers...those should all have info on fairs and bridal expos.

PricingIs anyone else finding that these bridal fairs are very expensive? Even our local fair is $400 for 4 hours. There is no way that I could pay that.

Booth costSee if other consultants or your director would be willing to split the cost and the work...I found a consultant on here in our area doing that. You basically "buy" a shift, and you get to keep the door prize slips you get ppl you talk with to complete.

Hope that helps!

sigmaqt95: I sent you a private message with some information. Let me know what you think!
