How Long to Hire a Hospitality Director?

In summary, my director sent the information on Tues and is waiting for HO to get her the information. I have a show next Sat, do you think I'll have one by then?

Probably not, it takes a while... If you have questions before you are able to hook up with a local director just ask away here! ;)

Hi Michelle,

My Director is in another state and she too was going to call home office to find a hospitality Director for me. However, my sister-in-law use to do PC and her friend is a Director so I took it upon myself to call her up and find out if she could take me in under her cluster group. She said she would be glad to and I just forwarded my Director her name, phone #, and email address. I will be going to my first meeting next Tuesday! YAY!

I don't know how long HO takes, however, I would suggest if you know someone in your area, check with them. Even if you don't know anyone, I would research online or under the Consultant Directory here on the board to see if anyone is close to you. Maybe that will work out faster for you? :)

Hi Michelle,

I don't know how long it takes H.O. to find a group for you to join their meetings, however, I have a few suggestions. If you know someone in your area that does PC, I would ask them if they take hospitality consultants. Even if you don't know someone, you could research online to find someone that lives in or near your area. You may also want to check the Consultant Directory on this board.

My Director is in another state. My sister-in-law use to do PC but she has a friend that is a Director for PC. She holds her meetings 5 minutes down the road from me. I gave her a call and she said she would be glad to take me under her wing. I emailed the Director's info. to my Director and I will be attending my first meeting next Tuesday...YAY!

So see, sometimes you just have to take things on yourself to get things moving along. Nothing against your Director or H.O.! By me taking the initiative, my Director was impressed and she called me self-sufficient! :D

Good Luck!
