Hi all,

Just got my first wedding registry. Trying out my skills on my sister! :p I figure by the time a "non aquaintance" registers, I will have all the kinks worked out.

Can anyone explain how returns work? What if they get something they didn't want or got from another registry? Do they get a "store credit"? or refund?

Does PC only send them 1 catalog in their welcome package?

Any other advice or tips would be greatly helpful! Thanks so much!:D

There is a tutorial on CC that shows everything about the registry. It was very informative and I felt like I could set up a flawless registy when I was done!

returns can be a pain if people looked at her registry then went to a show and ordered it that way! had that happen. needless to say, i got stuck fixing the problem out of my own pocket--mostly cuz it was my neice and i couldnt deal with cust serv people that i couldn't understand. one girl had supposedly set up a return, but nothing ever happened and she didnt give me a reference number so i had no way to trace it and i just let it go--not worth fighting for. i'm using the products as fair gifts, etc.

if they actually ordered from her registry, then you just need to call ho and ask them to do a return, they will ask her registry id number (its on your website) and the item number and they'll set it up. i'm sure there is a way to do it online too, but never looked into that way.
