 "Something" :o happened to my computer today. I went to bare bones and I couldn't find my P3, all my emails are gone...(a good thing..too much clutter there:rolleyes:) and I am in the process of trying to get back my contacts. Does anyone know how I can do this? I have Carbonite, did a restore and Tech support helped me to find P3 and luckily everything is good there. I just don't want to input all my contacts into windows mail again. I am not very computer saavy so if someone knows how to find these things I would appreciate any help!

TIA

Sorry, can't help you but hopefully somebody else can. (((hugs))) That must be VERY frustrating!!!

There is an export function in P3 that will allow you to create a csv file that you can then import into your email program. You can probably Google directions for doing it for your email program. It might be worth another call to Tech Support to ask if they can help you with something like that.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I recover my email contacts from a backup?

If you have previously backed up your email contacts, you can restore them by importing the backup file into your email client. Most email services allow you to import contacts from a CSV or VCF file. Check your email provider's support page for specific instructions on how to import contacts.

Is there a way to retrieve contacts from my email provider's cloud service?

Many email providers, such as Gmail or Outlook, automatically save your contacts in the cloud. You can log into your account and navigate to the contacts section to see if your contacts are still available. If they were deleted, some providers offer a recovery option for deleted contacts within a certain timeframe.

Can I use third-party software to recover lost email contacts?

Yes, there are various third-party software options available that can help recover lost email contacts. These tools often scan your email client or backup files for recoverable data. However, be sure to choose reputable software to avoid potential security risks.

What if I accidentally deleted my contacts? Can I get them back?

If you accidentally deleted your contacts, check your email provider's "Trash" or "Deleted Items" folder. Many services keep deleted contacts for a limited time, allowing you to restore them easily. If they are not there, you may need to use a backup or recovery tool.

How can I sync my contacts across multiple devices to avoid losing them?

To keep your contacts safe and synchronized across devices, use a cloud-based email service that offers contact syncing. Ensure that you enable contact synchronization settings on all devices. This way, any changes made to your contacts will automatically update across all devices, minimizing the risk of loss.
