How Can I Announce My Move and Business to New Neighbors Creatively?

In summary, the woman is moving and wants to let her past customers and hosts know. She is looking for some creative flyer ideas.

Ok so I went inactive recently due to health issues, trying to find a fulltime job plus raising a baby.. So me & my bf are moving to another town about 15min away, I wanted to make a flyer to mail to past host & customers announcing I have moved (something cute sounding to grab their attention) name some specials & also a flyer to put in my new neighbors boxes announcing they have a PC rep in their area.. I need some cute phrasing help though!! Any Ideas??

Did you get a waiver when you went inactive? Otherwise, I think you lost your recruits (just saw the recruits mentioned in your sig line...)

If you are inactive now, as of July 1, you can submit a retroactive waiver. See the policies for more info. It will cost you $25, but you won't lose your recruits or career sales.

That would be worth doing for her! Especially if it was medical issues, you should be able to get it.

I'll try to think about the moving ideas flyer...not feeling really creative right now...

Yeah, I went inactive the end of may....big bummer!!!! I've had a lot going on with my other job, family, etc. I requested a leave of absence, gave a reason and everything, and they shot back that I didn't give one, even though the copy of the email they sent back from me gave one, so I don't know if it wasn't good enough or what! What really kinda bugs me is that my director is usually really on top of when it looks like one of us is going to go inactive, she knows some of the stuff I've been dealing with, but totally hasn't called me to offer assistance or anything! It's like she's given up on me and I'm not worth the effort anymore....and I was SUPER close to $50k in career sales!!!! I've got a show ready to turn in, which will get me active again...I don't know if I can get my career sales back or not at this point....really stinks!!!! I realize my motivations been lacking...I'm super tired with all that I've had to do for my main job. UGH!!!!!Anyway...totally hijacked this thread now!!!! I think my point was, I understand and...does anyone happen to know if the retroactive qualifications are online somewhere??? I think I could scrounge together $25 to get that $50K back!!!!

oh my gosh, I was just about to ask for suggestions on flyers for moving to a new area, these are GREAT! Thank you, and definately dont want to see you lose any of your recruits. My question is-how active is your dirctor in keeping you part of his/her business, are they in the loop and helping you as well?

I love the 10 Steps to Jumpstart your business! I am going to print that out and hang it on the fridge so I can look at it each day. That is a good one for any consultant!

A consultant on my director's team put in for a waiver because she realized she was going to go inactive and the reason for the waiver must fall into the 3 requirements. She basically put in the "life" had taken over and she forgot to work... they denied her request. For all the info on the waivers, download the policies from Consultant's Corner (it's the first listing in BOLD under Frequently Visited Links)... pgs f-16 & f-17 have the info you'll need and the guidelines to submit the waivers. Hope that helps! :)

You mentioned you had medical issues...I haven't read the categories, but I'm sure that falls in one. If you had medical issues that have prevented you from working, them make sure you list that.

They also mention relocation to a place > 100 miles away. If you did that also, put it in there.

I just submitted it, I explained that I have a disease called:Interstitial Cystitis
(IC) that due to not having insurance I am unable to see a sepecialist for pain management, So i've had to cope. I am feeling better now but at the time before going in active I was in severe pain.
