Thank you! I didn't know much about Bunco either so this is just beyond fantastic!!!!!

Bunco (aka "Drunco" in some groups) played 4 to a table (if someone is absent that night you play with a "ghost" and someone rolls for them. 3 dice per table.
We have a group of 12. We've met the 3rd Friday of every month for 6 years. we each sign up for a month to host we serve drinks at 6:30, dinner at 7 play from 8 to sometimes midnight depending on what we have the next day and how competetive or "sober" we are. some groups pay to play & some only serve snacks.
Prizes are given for different cataegories. I always have to give PC gifts or they "turn" on me. We've been thru deaths of a child, a house fire, graduations, weddings, babies, divorces. We are like sisters.
I would check with her to find out what her group "normally" eats snacks or meal don't prepare it all but you can loan her SA pieces and serving utensils to put on the table to get the products in their hands.

I knew I would get educated about this here... Two women are hosting it together. I need to ask them about what gifts they want.. they should order PC... I may ask that be a requirement! They kind of want an express show... with appetizers type food. I'm thinking that the Creamy Caramel Skor dip from yesterdays post would be good to have put part way together and then demo the APCS.. and let them do it.. they need to see EASY and QUICK .. that is the lifestyle of this group... I think it will be fun... it's something new for me so I worry but I'm sure it will be fine.. .especially if all of you keep sharing your wisdom!!!!!!!!!!

how many play in their group?
what price limit do they have ?
Our group does $25 for the Bunco gift (it goes from winner to winner until the end of the evening) the other 5 gifts are $20 each. so they could make it a catalog show before hand to get the prizes.
Provide her with PC recipes to make ahead of time. ( garnished veggie tray with our dip on chillzanne server, tortilla chips & the "texas caviar" sorry I know thats not the PC name. Don't remember the name it has bottled Italian dressing, canned beans, jalapenos don't remember which cookbook either but it does need to be made ahead of time,)
I would have the munchies set out & demo something like the baked potstickers from a few seasons ago. It's a great holiday party recipe, and can be done as a hands on demo where they are involved making them.

As an extra special touch offer to bring the paper goods THIS time. Many of the party stores have Bunco paper goods. Especially if they don't have a large group you could easily provide them with little expense.
