I got my Large Bar Pan in my kit last Nov (07). It is now warped (rocks on my counter doesn't sit flat). Also it feels sticky on the bottom. We have done bacon in the bar pan and that is when the stickiness showed up. I have tried the baking soda paste and it hasn't solved it. Should I request a replacement?

Yes you should. We do bacon in our large bar pan and this has not happened to ours.

Yes, contact HO. I never heard of our stones warping. I love my LBP and use it all the time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What causes my Pampered Chef Bar Pan to warp?

Warping can occur due to extreme temperature changes, such as placing a cold pan into a hot oven or using high heat settings. It's important to preheat your oven gradually and avoid sudden temperature shifts to maintain the integrity of your pan.

Why is my Bar Pan sticky, even after cleaning?

A sticky surface can result from food residue buildup or improper seasoning. Ensure you are using the right cleaning methods, such as avoiding abrasive cleaners, and consider re-seasoning your pan if necessary to restore its non-stick properties.

Can I fix a warped Bar Pan, or do I need a replacement?

In some cases, a warped pan can be fixed by gently heating it and then placing it on a flat surface to cool. However, if the warping is severe and affects cooking performance, it may be best to consider a replacement.

How do I know if my Bar Pan is still safe to use?

If your pan is warped but still sits flat on the oven rack and does not have any cracks or significant damage, it may still be safe to use. However, if you notice any cracks or if it does not sit flat, it's advisable to stop using it and consider a replacement.

What is Pampered Chef's policy on replacing damaged Bar Pans?

Pampered Chef offers a guarantee on their products, including Bar Pans. If your pan is damaged or defective, you can contact their customer service for assistance with a replacement, provided it falls within the warranty period.
