I had two people purchase gift certificates from me at my recent show. They did not come with the show order, and I didn't see any mention of them with that order. How do I get those to my guests?? HELP! These are the first GC I've ever sold...

Were they official ones ordered through P3 on a show? HO mails them directly to the customer along with a catalog, so you shouldn't need to do anything. You could call those customers to make sure it arrived, though.

On CC, you can read the policy guide all about GC on page 3 and 4:Gift CertificatesPampered Chef® Gift Certificates are available starting at
$20 and then in increasing increments of $5. Shipping
and handling or sales tax charges do not apply toward the
purchase of gift certificates.Submitting a gift certificate purchaseUse the Gift Certificate Order Form to submit gift certificate
purchases. These can be ordered on the Supply Order Form.
Instructions for completing the form are provided on the
back of the form.
If a guest purchases a gift certificate, the guest will be
listed on the packing slip sent to the host, but will mail
separately to the purchaser or recipient as requested.See instructions in PamperedPartner® Plus for ordering
gift certificates electronically. The gift certificate is sent to the person indicated, with
a catalog, redemption form, a personalized message
from the purchaser and an envelope addressed to the
Home Office to make redemption easy. Each certificate
is numbered.
Redeeming a gift certificateTo redeem a gift certificate, the recipient must submit
it to the Home Office, either by mail or online via
Pamperedchef.com. Gift certificates are not redeemable at
a Show, through a Consultant or through PamperedPartner®
Plus. They may not be purchased or redeemed through the
Wedding Registry. Outlet items cannot be purchased with
gift certificates. Hosts may not apply their past host discount
when redeeming gift certificates.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best ways to deliver gift certificates to my customers?

You can deliver gift certificates in several ways, including mailing a physical certificate, sending a digital version via email, or providing a personalized message through social media. Choose the method that best suits your customer’s preferences.

Should I include any special instructions with the gift certificate?

Yes, it’s a good idea to include instructions on how to redeem the gift certificate, including any expiration dates, how to use it online or at a party, and any specific products or services it can be applied to.

What if my customer wants to customize their gift certificate?

You can offer customization options such as adding the recipient's name, a personal message, or even a specific product suggestion. Make sure to communicate these options clearly when selling the gift certificates.

How can I track the use of gift certificates sold?

Create a simple tracking system, either through a spreadsheet or using a sales tracking software. Record each sale, the certificate number, and the date of redemption to keep everything organized.

What should I do if a customer loses their gift certificate?

If a customer loses their gift certificate, ask them for details such as the purchase date and the name of the purchaser. If you have a tracking system in place, you may be able to issue a replacement or honor the original certificate based on your policies.
