I just recently got a grill pan and it's starting to discolor. Should that be happening? It almost looks like it's brown in spots. I have the 12" skillet and it's still beautiful. I did sear some chicken in the grill pan but that shouldn't discolor it right?

It shouldn't discolor, but I have noticed that sometimes grease accumulates on either side of the "grill ridges" and starts to look yucky if you aren't careful when cleaning...

i have used mine quite a bit since i earned it in POR and do not have brown spots. The grill press can get rust spots on it due to it is cast iron and you need to dry it well but the grill pan should not. I would call HO and get a replacement.

Definately call HO for a replacement. Mine is still looking great (its been over a year). Its my favorite pan!

I did chicken in mine last week after I got it and it cleaned beautifully. Did you use any kind of Pam or other spray? That can leave greesy spots that don't come off.

I didn't use anything. I think I'll call HO. Not happy about what it looks like at all.

I would call, maybe it's defective. I used mine for the same thing and I didn't have any problems.

My 8" pan that came in my kit has wierd brown spots too...I never take it to shows because of it. Would a call to HO be the fix?
