lacychef said:How fun! The parties are starting early up in WI huh?DH got an email today from GB Packers news; they already have the division champs hats for sale! (I hope they're not jinxing them!)
When we have Packers parties for dh, when the game is actually aired here; we have chips/cheese dip & brats.
Well, here in KS, they don't play all the GB games; seems they think we'd rather watch the Chiefs since they're closer:yuck: We've been so glad that they've been in some big games this year, so we know they'll be on tv!janetupnorth said:Hey, many people have a party for EVERY game.
Planning on Thurs. for a major game on Sunday isn't too early...
I can't tell you how many times FOX put an old movie on instead of the football game this year:grumpy: - there were SEVERAL times that the Packer game was the one we would have seen:cry: . Come on! I know there are a lot of Packer fans here - we even have Packer Bars (and there aren't that many bars here - unlike South Milwaukee where there is one on every corner it seems) and I see license plate covers, shirts, etc on people all the time.lacychef said:Well, here in KS, they don't play all the GB games; seems they think we'd rather watch the Chiefs since they're closer:yuck: We've been so glad that they've been in some big games this year, so we know they'll be on tv!

Does anyone in WI wear anything ELSE during the playoffs especially??
I tried to sell a house in Waukesha, WI the fall that the Packers were on their way to the superbowl -was it 96? (they won!) NO ONE was looking at houses especially on Sundays. I bet it's the same this year.lacychef said:LOL!
When we went up to a game a few years ago (preseason--only way we could afford/get tickets) we just loved everyone's attitudes. It was a great place to visit! Talk about one state in unity over one team.
Consider incorporating a tailgate theme with outdoor games, a football-themed potluck where guests bring dishes inspired by their favorite players, or a "cheesehead" party where everything revolves around Wisconsin cheese and snacks. You could also have a Packer trivia night to engage guests and celebrate the team's history.
Serve classic game day foods like nachos, sliders, and wings. Incorporate green and gold colors into your dishes, such as spinach dip, corn on the cob, or yellow cupcakes with green frosting. Don't forget to include a cheese platter featuring Wisconsin cheeses to honor the team's roots!
Use green and gold balloons, tablecloths, and streamers to create a festive atmosphere. Incorporate Packer memorabilia like jerseys, helmets, and banners. You could also set up a photo booth with props like foam fingers and footballs for guests to take fun pictures.
Organize a football-themed bingo game, a Packer trivia contest, or a "guess the score" prediction game. You can also set up a mini football toss competition or have a scavenger hunt for Packer-related items around your party space.
Use Pampered Chef products to prepare and serve your food, showcasing items like the Rockcrok for baking wings or the Mix 'N Chop for making dips. You can also host a mini cooking demonstration featuring quick and easy game day recipes, allowing guests to see the products in action while enjoying the party.
