My nephew is getting married later in the Summer, and we wil lnot be able to attend. I have not met his fiance, and have not seen my nephew for several years. When I tried to contact about a bridal registry, i did not receive a response (not surprised) however, I am planning on sending them PC products as a gift. My brother (father of the groom) thought that would be a good idea, but I am having ahard time to decide what to send, since I do not know the bride at all. I owuld like to send about $100 value. What do you think I shoudl send. I would like to send a nice grouping, but should it be pizza set, baking item, gadgets?

I think the pizza set is a nice gift, or the SS mixing bowls. Or of course stoneware! Guess that didn't help too much!

You could do a gadgets wraped with a bow in the trifle bowl. EX: mix n chop bamboo spoons, spatulas.

My standard wedding gift is a PC Gift Certificate!

Look at their wedding registries to get an idea of what they like, then pick something they either haven't registered for... maybe SA pieces or stoneware.

Do you have a host this month who doesn't want her host special? The Steak Knives would be a beautiful wedding gift.

I'd choose all the PC tools that are unique to PC (or that are WAY better than their counterparts)....Measure-All Cup, Batter Bowls, Food Chopper, rectangle stone, bar pan, etc. You can't be sure on gadgets what she will get, but if you know you are sending PC products that will wipe out the competition, she's likely to use them!

I have been giving...8" saute pan, small micro-cooker, and then smaller tools such as whisk, scrapers, etc., depending on the couple. I gave the Family skillet to the last couple. You could do the Batter Bowl, with an assortment of tools for baking. And, the pizza set would be great. I try to keep this sort of thing on hand for wedding and housewarming gifts. It is usually things I have been able to get for hosting my own show or at a discount.

I love giving Simple Additions and my favorite products. Sm Mix n Scraper, pizza cutter, easy read measuring cups, etc. I try to give the things that I use a lot. The pizza set is great! Ohh...I like to give cookbooks too since there are many easy recipes and I let them know my favorites since it can be overwhelming. Or if you know something your nephew likes to eat, find a recipe in one of our cookbooks and give them the products to make it.

I just recvd a response from my brother. Julie (the bride) enjoys cooking, and Ryan does when the mood hits him, so I think I will go with some basics, batter bowl, spatula's, garlic press, silver whisk, mix & chop, food chopper

I like the idea of adding some stoneware. The Large Bar Pan or Rectangular Baker are probably the most versatile for a couple starting out. And the Rectangular Baker is the same size as a 9x13 pan, so Julie won't have to convert any recipes she may have already.

I would suggest the tool turn about with kitchen gadgets, and if you don't hit your $100 mark, add in a gift certificate, this way they can get something else they need & you may have a repeat customer!

I always give a batter bowl as my starting point. Find a nice basket, and start adding in PC goodies. Also add some recipes in as well, hand written ones are always a good way to personalize the gift.
