Thank you both for your assistance!!! Your help means a great deal.
I'll let the host know that she can make with the cookie dough or with crescents. She wanted to have it at her show and I only make one recipe. I'm making Asian Summer Salad. Should be a nice cool menu.

Shawnna said:great recipe....super easy and everyone loves it. I usually use 2 crescent rolls and not the cookie dough because I like the dough to be more flaky and not as sweet. The crescent rolls makes more of a pie crust and the cookie is sweeter. Either way you make it you can't go wrong.
For an easy fruit pizza, you will need a sugar cookie dough (store-bought or homemade), cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a variety of fresh fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, and bananas. You can also add a fruit glaze if desired.
To prepare the crust, preheat your oven according to the sugar cookie dough package instructions. Roll out the dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet to form a large circle. Bake until golden brown, then let it cool completely before adding the cream cheese layer and toppings.
Yes, you can make the crust and cream cheese layer ahead of time. However, it's best to add the fresh fruit just before serving to prevent it from becoming soggy. You can also store the assembled fruit pizza in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
Fruits that work well for topping a fruit pizza include strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, bananas, and peaches. You can mix and match based on your preferences and seasonal availability for the best flavor and presentation.
To store leftover fruit pizza, cover it with plastic wrap or place it in an airtight container. Keep it in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Note that the freshness of the fruit may decline over time, so it's best enjoyed soon after making it.
