I guess I'll just have to keep breathing!

Anyway, I'll be feeling better once it's over and I know it was a success!

Talk with You Later!;)

Good luck! I'm sure you'll be great!

REMEMBER to have FUN!!! You will do just fine.

Good luck!! Just remember to have fun and keep the humor in it. At my shows everytime I mess up I would just say something like "see anyone can do this" or "hey I said I was a Pampered Chef not a perfect chef"!

Just relax and have fun. Instead of trying to "sell the catalog" just pretend you are showing your friends how to make a great recipe and tell them how really cool all the tools are that you are using. Have fun! And, let us know how it turns out!

Its ok to let everyone know that you are just starting. Ask for tips on how to make things better. WHo better to get tips from then your guests!
You will do just fine!! My first show was $700 in sales! That itself was enough to get me hooked.:D

wish me luckThe first time is always a little bit scary. Always have fun with your guest .I love to my see my guest laugh and have a good time because I feel that this increases my sales because I'm not boring them to death.:)

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I prepare for my first cooking show?

For your first cooking show, choose a simple recipe that showcases a few key Pampered Chef products. Consider something that can be prepared in about 30 minutes, allowing time for interaction with your guests. Dishes like a quick pasta, a salad, or a dessert can be great options. Make sure to practice the recipe beforehand to build your confidence.

How can I manage my nerves during the show?

It's completely normal to feel nervous before your first cooking show! To manage your nerves, practice your presentation multiple times, ideally in front of friends or family. Take deep breaths before starting, and remember that your guests are there to support you. Focus on enjoying the experience rather than striving for perfection.

What if I forget a step in the recipe?

If you forget a step during the show, don't panic! Just take a moment to collect your thoughts and continue from where you left off. Most guests won't notice minor mistakes, and you can always make a joke about it to lighten the mood. Remember, it's all part of the learning experience!

How can I engage my guests during the show?

Engaging your guests is key to a successful cooking show. Ask questions about their cooking experiences, encourage them to share their favorite recipes, and invite them to help with simple tasks. You can also incorporate fun facts about the products you're using to keep the atmosphere lively and interactive.

What should I do after the cooking show?

After your cooking show, take time to thank your guests for attending and encourage them to reach out if they have any questions about the products. Follow up with a thank-you message or email, and consider offering a special promotion for any orders placed within a certain timeframe. This helps build relationships and encourages future sales.
