Find the Best Menu Planning Software for Your Meal Prep Needs

In summary, when looking for menu planning software, it is important to consider features such as recipe management, meal planning calendar, grocery list generation, nutritional information analysis, and compatibility with different devices. While there are free options available, they may have limited features compared to paid software. Most menu planning software allows for customization of meal plans and recipes, including the ability to add personal recipes, adjust serving sizes, and create meal plans for different dietary restrictions. The software also provides nutritional information for meals and the option to sync meal plans with calendars and generate grocery lists for efficient meal prep.

I'm interested in getting a meal planning software. I've looked at Cook'n and Shop'n Cook Menu. I'm looking for menu planning, shopping list capabilities - among other things.

Does anyone have any experience with any of these or other software programs?

Could the software be claimed for taxes? I'd definatly put my PC recipes in.

I use Big Oven. I love it. It comes with tons of recipes already loaded. It is easy to add more recipes too by copying & pasting them. It has all the features you mentioned. If a recipe feeds 4 & you are having 7 people (or any number), you can put that info in & it will calculate the amount of everything you need. Pick the recipes for the week & it will make a shopping list. I don't know anything about the programs you mentioned so I can't help on that. I am not an accountant but I don't know why it wouldn't be deductible.

Sounds like fun.
