I'm doing a combination fair at our local mall -- it is a combination event for women to start their businesses, along with the local Halloween parade. Each child needs to register a week in advance and obtain a bag -- I thought I could insert a recipe into the bag since the mom's will be getting the bags. Any ideas??

I wish my other computer was working. I have a treat bag I printed on a postcard and included with dd's treats at story hour, actually made a bag for each mom separately and I got 2 shows and an order that I only had to add a few things to make a show.

I can give them one item to insert into each bag -- that is why I was looking for a cute recipe with my name and info at the bottom, to have printed and inserted into each bag, along with some at our table. Any recipe ideas??

If you can find the poem you use that would be great, after you get to your own computer. That would be neat to use for Trick or Treat night.

Thank you! Now I know what Lisa was talking about. This is great.

This is a neat idea...what kinds of treats do you put in them? My son goes to story hour at the library with my mother in law...I could ask her to hand them out!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some easy recipe ideas for a Halloween-themed fair at the mall?

For a Halloween-themed fair, consider recipes like spooky spider cupcakes, pumpkin-shaped cheese balls, and ghostly meringue cookies. You can also serve a witch's brew punch and create a charcuterie board with Halloween-themed snacks like "witches' fingers" (vegetable sticks) and "eyeball" cheese balls.

How can I incorporate Pampered Chef products into my Halloween recipes?

Pampered Chef offers a variety of kitchen tools that can enhance your Halloween recipes. Use the Mini Cookie Cutter Set to create fun shapes for cookies and pastries. The Mix 'N Chop is perfect for making fillings or dips, while the Stoneware can be used for baking spooky treats evenly. Don't forget to showcase your creations on a beautiful serving platter!

What are some kid-friendly Halloween recipes to make for the fair?

Kid-friendly Halloween recipes include monster fruit cups, where you can use grapes and melon balls to create fun faces, and Halloween-themed pizza made with dough shaped like pumpkins. Additionally, make ghost-shaped sandwiches using cookie cutters and serve them with a side of "witches' brew" (green punch).

How can I make my booth stand out at the Halloween fair?

To make your booth stand out, decorate it with Halloween-themed decorations like cobwebs, pumpkins, and spooky lights. Offer samples of your recipes to attract customers, and consider hosting a mini cooking demonstration using Pampered Chef tools. Engaging visuals and interactive elements will draw more visitors to your booth.

Are there any Halloween-themed cooking classes I can offer at the fair?

Yes! You can offer cooking classes that focus on Halloween-themed recipes. Consider classes on making spooky treats like Halloween cupcakes, themed appetizers, or festive drinks. Use Pampered Chef products during the class to demonstrate their effectiveness and encourage participants to purchase them for their own Halloween celebrations.
