I made an observation last night that I had to share. I know they only added a few pages to the new catalog but it feels so much thicker! And I love the recipes on the front and the back cover! Cannot wait to share them with everyone!
 
I like the new catalog too. I especially like the brighter photos and less "people pictures". The catalog should be about the products and this time they did just that.
 
I do have to agree that it does feel so much heavier though..but I love the catalog as a whole.
 
My favorite part is the new way they did the recipes. They have the recipe and a picture and then they listed ALL the products people need to make that recipe! That will be great when people look at the recipes for them to shop! This way they can see each product, do a mental compare of what they may already have at home, then fill in the blanks!

I've got a package of the F/W catalogs next to a pack of the S/S catalogs, and the S/S pack is signifigantly thicker.
 
I'm loving the new catalogs too. The bold print, the product list by the recipes, the New Consultant Kit page layout....so many great modifications! They put a lot of thought and work behind it!
 
Things are so much easier to find! I love the new catalogs.
 
You know as I was labeling mine today, I noted that there does not seem to be a difference in the paper weight but I thought someone said the pages seemed flimsier??? I will say this though, they do not fit in my catalog drawer any more! I used be able to 130 in there, now I barely got 100 in there! Eesh! Pat's gonna have a bird because the excess is laying out on his desk! OOPS!

Here's an interesting observation about the new catalog. My roomate, who is generally a PC hater, said, "I'm seeing a lot of new products here." Among them are the Kernel Cutter, which is in the old catalog, and the Moroccan Rub, which is in our cupboard! I think the new catalog just puts things more prominently on display and makes them easier to spot.
 
OOOOO I can't wait till someone sees them! If I get that reaction too, I am calling HO and praising the editors! Pat is no good as he never really looks at the catalog. So I have to wait to see what my friends and family say on Sunday when I give them their copies. You know, I gotta see if I can find things too! Too tired now, I don't think I could find/see anything!
