How do you store your recipe card collection? In the short time I have been doing this I have a nice little pile going but they are starting to get loose and escape. I have a recipe box, but it only holds smaller index cards. I would love to hear about a possible binder... that way the cards can stay in their place and you would have access to both sides of the card.

Any suggestions?

How big are your cards?

For my home recipes, I throw them in a binder. For PC recipes, I print one out and hang on to it till I decide I don't want to make it anymore (sometimes I have to print it out each show).

I know that they have binders and inserts that hold trading cards (Baseball, football, etc.) You would be able to see both sides but I'm not sure if they would be big enough to hold recipe cards. Maybe that isn't to much help but it was the first thing I thought of....
Oh! I wonder if those would hold the use and care guides!?!? I know we have them online but that might be something good to take to shows incase a question comes up!!

I am so sorry i didn't include a lot of info! Okay, i am referring to the recipe cards... like the ones you get on supply. I use them in the "3 pile at checkout". I keep acquiring older ones that aren't in current cookbooks that I adore and want to make sure I keep ahold of for my own cooking.

That is a WONDERFUL idea. I have all of mine stored in a shoe box, lol!!!

I use a photo album that holds 4x6 photos. It actually had a piece of paper in each sleeve, so I removed that so that I could see both sides of the card without removing the cards. Linda

Mine are in a resealable bag! Boy we are fancy!:D

I have one of the old Pampered Chef Recipe binders, but a photo album would do the same job. Just be sure to get the right size for the recipe cards.

They did this for my wedding shower. It was one of those books that's the size of 1 photo and everyone wrote their favorite recipe down so I could have a collection. I loved it!!

I think this one is a great idea for what you're looking for. Get a plain book or something with cooking on it or something.

I am a bit embarrassed that I couldn't think of the photo album idea myself. You guys are the best!!!

I got a nice recipe box from Longaberger and put tabbed separators in to keep the dinners, desserts, etc. separate. The top is wooden and has a little holder to hold the recipe you're using at the moment. I have a friend who sells Longaberger and she buys a lot of PC from me, so I had to find something I "needed" from her and this was perfect for all of those 4X6 recipe cards we have!
