Does anyone have these typed up together?
They can be downloaded from CC - but all individually, and in full color. I would like a condensed form without all the pictures that I can hand out at shows.

Just thought I'd see if someone had already done it before I attempt it myself!

Thanks!

Yeah, what Ann said - nice flyers on CC with all of them together!!!!

No, I opened all the messages I wanted to read and respond to and was going down the line...I started to type about CC then saw Ann posted so backed up and changed it...

TOTALLY forgot about the star! I should probably shut up then 'cause I like the blue one!

Yes, I have that one, but it is coming at it from a demonstration POV, and I really just want the recipes put together simply in on one document. That one just uses way too much ink, be it color or b/w.

I'll probably end up just doing one then. I'm having a Power Cooking Clinic here next week, and I want a handout of the recipes for everyone.

Hey I just looked at it and it is different than the one I got from there...let me see if I can find the one I used...ETA: I used the shopping list guide - that is why...

Becky, I have them up on my website. If you want you can just copy and paste, or copy and print it as a selection. Or you can do what I do...put it on your website and direct them there :)

Hope that helps!

Thanks Cheryl! That does help!

The guests invited to this show are all of my past hosts....so I try to do something a little extra for them.

dianevill put together a great sheet for us. I don't know how to attach things on here but it's from the thread Power Cooking started on 02-02-08. Diane posted the flyers on 2-28. Maybe someone can attach those on here. I think they are just what you are looking for Becky!

Thanks Deb! That was the one I talking about. How did you attach the link that goes straight to that thread?

i just copied and pasted.

Wow! Thanks for directing me to that thread!

There was actually a pamphlet on there by ChefLoriG that is just what I was wanting! It's perfect!

Somewhat of a hijack here, but has anyone done Power Cooking Shows with chicken recipes? Anytime I have suggested the ones PC told us about, I get the "we don't eat alot of hamburger" excuse!

Meg - I have done all of the recipes from PC substituting chicken for the ground beef. You can even still use the mix n chop to chop up the chicken! I have done the chicken in the DCB(cut into stips first), and then chop away!

The only difference I would make is to use a BBQ sauce in place of the ketchup mixture for the BBQ's (Or use the PC BBQ sauce recipe), and to add some canned chili peppers, and use white & black beans for the chili recipe.

In fact, I've been mulling over whether to use ground beef, ground turkey, or boneless, skinless chicken breast for my show....

In regards to meat I have substituted Chicken and ... Yummo!
To save $ I have also substituted ground turkey for GB. Personally I like to have at least 1 LB of ground beef though with the turkey. Here ground turkey is at least .50 cheaper per pound than GB.

COOL! thanks for the info, I am going to have to try these at home first and see what the family thinks!

Hmmmm ... boneless skinless chicken is on sale often for less than $2 a pound around here... cheaper than 93 percent lean ground beef even when it IS on sale! For these recipes we could cook the chicken and chop it in the food chopper to shred it!

Yep - Meijers has boneless skinless breasts on sale this week (the frozen kind) Buy one, Get one free. - That makes it $1.99 lb. 93% lean hamburger is $3.29 a lb. this week. So, I'm stocking up on chicken!

And - I have found, if you cut the chicken in strips and then either cook it in the DCB, or saute it in the large family skillet, you can chop it up with the mix n chop, just like the ground beef!

D & W has Jennie O ground turkey, 20 oz., for $2.50 and ground sirloin for $2.99 a pound.

I saw that, but the nearest D&W is in Grandville, and the gas it would take to go there would negate any savings.

I LOVE D&W, but I don't go there much anymore.
