I am fairly new to PC (8/2005) and at my shows I have had about 12 customers ask me about Grease Mops and they do not see them in our catalogs. I have never heard of them. I hope someone can shed some information on these mops so I can pass the information onto my customers. If we do not carry them anymore when did we get rid of them.

Thank You

I'm not sure when we got rid of them, but it's been awhile! They looked like a mini-mop that you could "mop" your greasy food with and it would suck up the grease. We used it for chicken soup, pizza, ground beef, etc. They worked really great, but a real pain to clean.

Hi there! I'm not sure if you're referring to grease mops for cleaning or for cooking, so I'll try to cover both bases. For cleaning, grease mops are typically used to remove grease and grime from surfaces such as stovetops, ovens, and grills. They are usually made of a mop head attached to a handle, and are designed to be used with a cleaning solution. However, they are not as commonly used nowadays as they used to be, as there are many other cleaning tools and products available that can also effectively remove grease. For cooking, grease mops are used to spread oil or butter onto a cooking surface, such as a grill or pan. They are often made of a cotton or microfiber material that is absorbent and can hold onto the oil or butter. However, these are also not as commonly used anymore, as many people prefer to use cooking sprays or brushes for greasing their cooking surfaces. It's possible that your customers may have seen grease mops being used in the past and are wondering why they are no longer available. It could be that your company no longer carries them, or they may have been phased out by other cleaning and cooking tools. I would suggest offering alternative products to your customers, such as degreasers for cleaning or cooking sprays for greasing. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
