Just wanted to let you guys know that my first booth Saturday went very well... I was pleased... I have a show booked for this Thursday, $142.50 in sales from it and several more shows that have not picked dates yet... So, I think it went very well... Thanks for all your help and advice.

Great news! Booths are great for getting out of your "normal" circle! And the fact that you are $7.50 away from it being a show is awesome, as well!

aaawww, sorry to hear that... Maybe it will pick up soon....

Congrats! I held a holiday booth this past weekend too and people were pretty darn close to asking me to host shows for them! :D One on the books for Jan 19th, the others want to be called after the new year, so whooooo knowwsss? Altogether, four possible shows, one on the books, three possible fundraisers, two possible wedding registries, and one possible recruit. I think they are a wonderful idea...booths = thumbs up!

AWESOME... that is great... I loved doing it... Lots of people there... I handed out mini cattys and business cards to ALOT of people... And being new to the area, I really hope it helps to get my name out there... The only thing is, I got there at 7am to set up, it started at 9am and didn't end until 4pm... I have fibromyalgia and my neck and shoulders were killing me when I left.... Wish it was a couple hours shorter.. But, definitely not complaining...

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my first booth at the event was successful?

Success can be measured in various ways, including the number of sales made, leads collected, and overall engagement with attendees. If you had a good flow of visitors, received positive feedback, and made some sales, it's a sign that your booth was successful.

What should I look for in terms of sales numbers?

While there is no specific benchmark for success, consider your sales goals prior to the event. If you met or exceeded those goals, that’s a positive indicator. Additionally, compare your sales to similar events to gauge your performance.

How can I evaluate the engagement at my booth?

Engagement can be assessed by the number of people who stopped by, asked questions, or participated in any demonstrations you offered. Take note of how many people signed up for your mailing list or expressed interest in hosting a party or placing an order.

What feedback should I seek from attendees?

Ask attendees about their impressions of your booth, the products displayed, and the overall experience. You can use informal conversations or provide a short survey to gather insights on what they liked and what could be improved.

What are some next steps if my booth went well?

If your booth was successful, consider following up with leads you collected, sending thank-you notes to customers, and planning future events. Additionally, reflect on what worked well and what didn’t to improve your strategy for next time.
