Devastating Fires in Florida: Keep Our Community in Your Prayers

In summary, there are several ways to help those affected by the devastating fires in Florida. You can donate money or supplies to reputable organizations, volunteer your time and resources, and support firefighters and first responders through donations and words of appreciation. I'm not sure if you guys have been watching the news or not, but we are having MASSIVE fires in my county. I've taken a couple pictures so you can see what is surrounding my area. As of right now, we haven't been evacuated but one of my girls on my team was evacuated last night and again just now.

Please keep us in our prayers. Thanks. the sad thing is that I just heard that someone keeps setting them! Can you say ARSON?

They can't put them out fast enough, they're going up too quickly. Right now,51 homes are damaged or destroyed. ugh

I'm aching for these folks. Our home is in central florida (though not in the area of the fires...knock on wood). Everything is so dry right now. I hope they catch whoever is setting the fires and let those who've lost their homes 'participate' in the questioning. :grumpy:

Sorry, that isn't nice of me, but this creep(s) deliberately set fires every hour with no regard to people's lives or homes.

WHAT????
These are DELIBERATELY set fires?!?!?!? What kind of sicko does this??
Here in So. Fla. my local highway was shut down (as my team was trying to get to my meeting) for almost 2 hours because a 1 mile stretch of the median was on fire. Oy vey.
::::praying for rain:::::

The Orlando papers are reporting separate fires began in different locations every hour starting after Midnight...so the authorities are thinking it's arson.
