In summary, the spoons looked great and everyone loved them. They had some tips for dipping the spoons in chocolate and flavoring them, and also found some wrappers at Hobby Lobby.

I used almond bark, you could use those Wilton melting disks, they come in all colors.

These look great - I've been trying to think of something for the kids' bus drivers and other "small" gift item people, now I know what I'm going to do - I have a bunch of spoons from a vendor event that didn't do as well as hoped, so now I can use them as gifts - thanks for the great ideas!!

Those look great! I had forgotten about doing these for gifts. I always used the plastic spoons but the bamboo spoons are perfect now that I'm in PC. :D Nice job on the mugs. Anyone would be thrilled to get those!

I used to take orders and make candies and sweets for the holidays and would use these in the baskets. They were always a big hit. The milk chocolate spoons are great with either mint or cinnamon flavors added. Or use the peppermint with the white chocolate. I used the Wilton flavored oils. With the melting discs or the almond bark you don't have to worry about it seizing when you add the flavoring so much easier to work with than regular chocolate.

The people on here are so talented! I love seeing the ideas everyone has. :)

I had tried white choc on the pretzels and I was so turned off. I found the trick is to not microwave the choc. MORE then 45 seconds. I f you do it will burn the choc. and give a clumpy look.

Your spoons are awesome!

I love the idea of the dipped spoons. The only thing is that the spoons smell weird to me (the finish?). Plus, they are made in China now (old ones were made in Taiwan). I love what you did though. Too cute!
