So I have this hostess who had a party the middle of March. I played phone tag with her for almost a month, so I finally met up with her at her friends show. She is ready to close her show at the $400 level and places a $400 for herself (Plus $608 in cookware value for me). So we decide that I'm going to take the order home and add it up on PP, and call her. So I call her the next day to give her the total. She can't believe she has spent so much money, so I ask her if we can pick through what she would like to keep/get rid of. She tells me she's at work and will call me back that was Saturday. So I call her back last night, first she's driving and can't talk, then she's on the other line and never calls me back!!!!! I'm so mad, what should I do?

I want to get this show closed. I want to stay within her budget, but how can I do that if she won't call me back!!

You need to be strait with her and tell her the end of the month is coming up and you need to submit her show. If she doesn't then her guests will lose their special.

Let her now you understand she is very busy but if you two can meet for lunch or coffee and get this thing closed. I know it is hard not to sound frustrated, because don't I know you have the right :)

Anyway, just be strait. Good luck ;)

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if my host is frustrated with low party sales?

First, listen to your host's concerns and validate their feelings. Offer encouragement and remind them that not every party will meet expectations. Discuss strategies to boost sales, such as reaching out to more guests or offering additional incentives. Reassure them that you are there to support them throughout the process.

How can I help my host stay within budget while planning a party?

Encourage your host to set a realistic budget at the beginning. Discuss the costs associated with party supplies, food, and any incentives they may want to offer guests. Suggest using digital invitations and free online platforms for hosting to minimize costs. Help them prioritize essential expenses to stay within their budget.

What if my host wants to offer too many discounts or incentives?

Gently remind your host that while incentives can motivate guests, too many can cut into profits. Discuss the importance of balancing incentives with the overall goal of the party. Help them choose one or two effective incentives that will encourage sales without jeopardizing their budget.

How can I encourage my host to engage guests without feeling overwhelmed?

Provide your host with a simple plan that outlines key engagement strategies, such as sending reminders, sharing product highlights, or hosting a fun game during the party. Encourage them to reach out to guests in a way that feels comfortable for them, whether through personal messages or social media. Reassure them that you will support them throughout the process.

What should I do if the party is not closing well?

If the party is not closing well, assess the situation with your host. Discuss any last-minute strategies that could help, such as a flash sale or a limited-time offer. Encourage the host to reach out to guests who haven’t ordered yet, reminding them of the benefits of the products. If necessary, consider extending the party for a few more days to give guests additional time to place orders.
