Hi Ladies - I am hoping someone out there can help me. My director is signed up with David's Bridal and hasn't been getting much from it. She finally decided that having live consultants in the store on Saturdays (their busiest day) would be the best way to get some registries, showers, possible recruits etc.

Has anyone actually set up in the store before? How did it go? What would you recommend? Any input would be helpful. I did a few bridal shows last year and got registries - but I am not holding my breath on getting sales from them - two weddings came and went without any orders...

I am really focusing on getting bookings and recruits - I really want to promote this year!

I appreciate any words of wisdom you can share with me.

Thanks,

Val

Hi Val,I have not personally set up in a David's Bridal store, but I have heard from other consultants that it can be a great way to get leads and potential bookings. Here are a few tips that I've heard from others who have done it:1. Make sure you have plenty of business cards and flyers to hand out to brides and their families. Be sure to include your contact information and a brief description of your services.2. Offer a special promotion or discount for brides who book with you during the event. This can entice them to take action and book with you on the spot.3. Bring along some sample products or displays to showcase your products and services. This can help brides visualize how your products could fit into their wedding.4. Have a sign-up sheet for potential recruits who are interested in learning more about the business. This can be a great way to expand your team and potentially earn more income.Overall, just be friendly and approachable to everyone who comes into the store. You never know who might be interested in your services or know someone who is getting married. Good luck with your event!
