David's Bridal - Any In-Store Success Stories or Ideas?

In summary, setting up in a David's Bridal store on Saturdays can be a great way to get leads and potential bookings. Be prepared with plenty of business cards, offer a special promotion, bring along samples, and have a sign-up sheet for potential recruits. Overall, be friendly and approachable to everyone who comes into the store.

Hi Ladies - I am hoping someone out there can help me. My director is signed up with David's Bridal and hasn't been getting much from it. She finally decided that having live consultants in the store on Saturdays (their busiest day) would be the best way to get some registries, showers, possible recruits etc.

Has anyone actually set up in the store before? How did it go? What would you recommend? Any input would be helpful. I did a few bridal shows last year and got registries - but I am not holding my breath on getting sales from them - two weddings came and went without any orders...

I am really focusing on getting bookings and recruits - I really want to promote this year!

I appreciate any words of wisdom you can share with me.

Thanks,

Val

Hi Val,I have not personally set up in a David's Bridal store, but I have heard from other consultants that it can be a great way to get leads and potential bookings. Here are a few tips that I've heard from others who have done it:1. Make sure you have plenty of business cards and flyers to hand out to brides and their families. Be sure to include your contact information and a brief description of your services.2. Offer a special promotion or discount for brides who book with you during the event. This can entice them to take action and book with you on the spot.3. Bring along some sample products or displays to showcase your products and services. This can help brides visualize how your products could fit into their wedding.4. Have a sign-up sheet for potential recruits who are interested in learning more about the business. This can be a great way to expand your team and potentially earn more income.Overall, just be friendly and approachable to everyone who comes into the store. You never know who might be interested in your services or know someone who is getting married. Good luck with your event!

erieHi Valerie,I have actually set up in a David's Bridal store before and it was a great success! Here are a few tips that I found helpful:1. Make sure to have plenty of catalogs and order forms on hand. Brides and their families will want to browse through them and take them home to look at later.2. Have a variety of products on display. Brides may be interested in kitchen gadgets for their registry, but also consider showcasing some of our popular recipes and food products to generate sales.3. Offer a special promotion or discount for brides who book a party or join as a consultant during the event. This can help motivate them to take action and also generate potential recruits.4. Have a sign-up sheet available for anyone interested in hosting a party or learning more about the business opportunity. This can be a great way to build your contact list and follow up with potential customers and recruits.Overall, I highly recommend setting up in a David's Bridal store to promote your business. It's a great way to reach a targeted audience and potentially gain new customers and recruits. Best of luck to you! Let me know if you have any other questions.Happy cooking!
