I absolutely love cooking my bacon in the bar pan but was wondering yesterday morning while I was cooking sausage if it could be done. Has anyone tried sausage links and/or patties?

I do sausage links on my bar pan quite often. I buy the Bob Evans sausage links, and there are directions on the package for doing them in the oven.

Really? I guess I better play closer attention to packaging instructions. Thanks!:)

Oh - just to clarify, these are the raw sausage links in casings, not precooked or smoked.

I've done all kinds on stoneware and they always turn out great.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of sausage is best to cook in the Pampered Chef Bar Pan?

Any type of sausage works well in the Pampered Chef Bar Pan, including breakfast sausage links, Italian sausage, or even chicken sausage. The key is to ensure that the sausages are evenly spaced to allow for even cooking.

How do I prepare the Bar Pan before cooking sausage?

Before cooking, it's recommended to lightly grease the Bar Pan with a small amount of oil or cooking spray. This helps prevent sticking and makes cleanup easier. Preheating the oven to the appropriate temperature is also essential for optimal cooking results.
