It goes in the oven!Dawn4 said:I'm sure the recipe is right under my nose, but I can't find it. When I'm putting the cookie dough and the snickers bar in the saute pan, do I then put it in the oven or on the stove top??

And it is!Dawn4 said:I believe this is the one. I know that I've seen the recipe, but I've never done it myself. I had the opportunity to see it demonstrated at a cluster meeting last night in the 8 inch saute pan. The demonstrator makes the cookie to show how easy clean up is with the executive set of cookware. Thank you!!!!!

Chocolate Chunk Skillet Cookie
18 oz refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
2 bars (1.5-2 oz each) favorite chocolate candy
350 degree oven. Press cookie dough into bottom of 10 inch skillet. Top with chocolate chips and nuts. Cut candy bars into 1/4 inch slices and arrange over dough. Bake 25-30 minutes (golden color but center is still soft). Cool 10 minutes and cut into wedges (you can slide it out of pan first). Serve with ice cream.
YUM
To make Snickers cookies in the Cookie Saute Pan, you will need the following ingredients: 1 cup of unsalted butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 large eggs, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 cup of chopped Snickers bars, and 1 cup of chocolate chips.
Before baking, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease the Cookie Saute Pan with cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking. This will ensure that your cookies bake evenly and come out easily once they are done.
Bake the Snickers cookies in the preheated Cookie Saute Pan for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Keep an eye on them to avoid overbaking, as they will continue to cook slightly after being removed from the oven.
Absolutely! You can customize your Snickers cookies by adding nuts, such as chopped peanuts or walnuts, or by substituting other types of candy bars for Snickers. You can also experiment with different types of chocolate chips, like dark chocolate or white chocolate, to suit your taste.
To store leftover Snickers cookies, place them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. If you want to keep them fresh for a longer period, you can freeze them in a freezer-safe container or bag for up to three months. Just make sure to separate layers with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
