I have a catalog show "guest" who wants to do a show with her "monthly supper club." I got her name from the host and haven't called her yet so really don't know what she's thinking.

I assume it will be co-ed and, really, not that many buying guests (five couples maybe?). Any suggestions on how to get her thinking outside of that small group of people? Anyone ever done a co-ed show - I haven't? Thanks for any tips to prepare this host for a great show.

On another thread I saw challenges between the males and females, but maybe you could do a challenge between the couples? and have them invite their friends...say that they need teams of people??? (3 couples per team) ...and do PC, cooking/baking and those sort of questions...

I wouldn't assume that it's a co-ed group - I belong to a Supper Club that is all women, and we got the idea from a cookbook written by a bunch of women who are in a Supper Club....we do a different theme every month - I would start there, and then have them actually make the meal using PC recipes and tools - these will be people who love to cook! I would suggest the new Cooking for Two or More cookbook - some great recipes in there for a Supper Club meal!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Co-Ed Supper Club Show?

A Co-Ed Supper Club Show is a social gathering where both men and women come together to enjoy a meal while learning about Pampered Chef products. It combines cooking demonstrations with a fun dining experience, allowing guests to sample recipes and see how the products work in a relaxed setting.

How do I host a successful Co-Ed Supper Club Show?

To host a successful Co-Ed Supper Club Show, start by selecting a theme or menu that appeals to both genders. Promote the event through social media, personal invitations, and word of mouth. Ensure you have a variety of dishes that showcase Pampered Chef products, and create an engaging atmosphere with music and decorations. Encourage guests to participate in the cooking process for a more interactive experience.

What types of recipes work best for a Co-Ed Supper Club Show?

Recipes that are easy to prepare and allow for guest participation tend to work best. Consider dishes like tacos, pasta, or build-your-own pizzas, where guests can customize their meals. Additionally, include a mix of appetizers, main courses, and desserts to cater to different tastes and preferences.

How can I encourage guests to place orders during the show?

To encourage guests to place orders, highlight the benefits of the products during the cooking demonstration. Offer exclusive discounts or promotions for orders placed during the event. Create a fun atmosphere with games or raffles that incentivize purchases. Additionally, provide a clear and easy way for guests to place their orders, whether through a catalog, online link, or order forms.

What should I do if some guests are hesitant to buy products?

If some guests are hesitant to buy products, focus on building relationships and addressing their concerns. Share personal stories about how the products have benefited you or others. Offer to answer any questions they may have and provide demonstrations that showcase the product's value. Sometimes, offering a small incentive, like a discount or a free gift with purchase, can also help alleviate hesitations.
