The thread centers around participants' experiences and opinions regarding Merrill's new clothing line and vendor setup at a conference. Discussions include pricing, product variety, checkout experiences, and payment methods accepted by Merrill.
Views differ on the quality and variety of Merrill's clothing line, with some participants expressing disappointment while others find it acceptable. There is no clear consensus on payment methods, as experiences and expectations vary among participants.
The discussion reflects personal experiences from attendees at the conference, focusing on the vendor's offerings and logistical aspects rather than official policies or guidelines.
Participants attending the conference or those interested in Merrill's offerings may find the shared experiences and insights relevant to their planning and expectations.
He said some of it was good (reasonable) but not all. Not being a snot just pointing out where he said itThe_Kitchen_Guy said:In order:It's...okay.
Some of it, but not all of it.
Ues, there is a wide variety, but I'd like to see even more.
Brand names for clothing. There may be hope for them, but frankly, I'm underwhelmed by their line of golf shirts which have no decoration except for the logo. (No stripes on the collars or cuffs, for example.)
They also have a lousy check out system with a line that is so long people were missing big chunks of the general sessions.
Dang!!! PCChris, I haven't been invited to smack someone in a loooonnnnggg time!pcchris said:Oh yes you are being a snot! (Just kidding!! LOL!)
Cathy, you can smack me for that comment when we meet up!
So, here's a dumb question...
Am I correct in assuming that Merrill is it? There are no other vendors there?
Do they only take our PC Debit card?
I just need to know if I should deposit most of my cash in the bank, or bring it with me to pay for "vendor stuff". Does Merrill take cash? (Ok, so there was more than one question...sorry!)

I'm sorry but that is dumbest crap I've ever heard! Regardless, of the reason, cash should be accepted! Some people do not do checking accounts for personal reasons! And credit cards get way to many people in trouble! I have both but I like using cash a lot, because it's easier to control, although I must admit, I like the comfort of a check card!DebbieJ said:Only Pampered Chef takes the PC Debit card. That's why it's called the PC Debit Card. Does Macy's take your Jc Penney card for payment? No.
Last year Merrill did NOT take cash. You're better off writing a check or bringing a credit or debit card issued by a bank.
And Merrill's lines were ridiculously long at Leadership, too. You think they would have worked on that problem before Conference. Oh well.

No, Paper PC Dollars are typically only redeemable for Pampered Chef products and cannot be used for purchases outside of the Pampered Chef catalog, including Merrill's New Clothing Line.
Paper PC Dollars are promotional credits awarded by Pampered Chef that can be used to purchase products from their catalog. They are not interchangeable with other brands or products outside of Pampered Chef.
You can use your Paper PC Dollars to purchase items directly from the Pampered Chef catalog, either through a consultant or on the official Pampered Chef website during the designated redemption period.
Generally, Paper PC Dollars can only be used for Pampered Chef products. Always check the specific terms and conditions provided with your Paper PC Dollars for any exceptions or special promotions.
If you are interested in purchasing from Merrill's New Clothing Line, you will need to use a different form of payment, such as a credit card or cash, as Paper PC Dollars cannot be applied to those purchases.
