I just got the cookie press right before Christmas and made fudge in it. Anyway, can you use the Pillsbury sugar cookie dough in it????? Thanks in advance.

I have never done it but I don't see why not. You could always just put a little bit in and see what happens...

Leave it out a room temp a bit...maybe an hour... that is it... also have used Betty Crocker cookie mix...I think it tastes better than the refrigerated kind.

The receipeFor the spritz cookies that comes with the press works awesome.

I have used it. It worked pretty good. A little softer maybe than some doughs. I put mine in the microwave for a few seconds to bring it to room tempature quickly.

The Easy Peanut Butter Presses from All The Best are really good and almost fool-proof.

1 egg
Mix. Press. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use Pillsbury dough in my cookie press?

Yes, you can use Pillsbury dough in your cookie press. However, it's important to choose the right type of dough, such as the refrigerated cookie dough, which is designed to hold its shape when pressed.

What types of Pillsbury dough work best in a cookie press?

The best options for a cookie press are the Pillsbury refrigerated cookie dough varieties, such as sugar cookies or gingerbread. These doughs have the right consistency to be easily pressed into shapes.

Do I need to modify the Pillsbury dough before using it in a cookie press?

Generally, you do not need to modify Pillsbury dough, but if the dough seems too soft or sticky, you can refrigerate it for a short time to firm it up, making it easier to work with in the cookie press.

Can I use frozen Pillsbury dough in my cookie press?

It is not recommended to use frozen Pillsbury dough directly in a cookie press. Thaw the dough in the refrigerator until it is soft enough to press but still firm enough to hold its shape.

What should I do if the dough is too thick for the cookie press?

If the dough is too thick, you can try adding a small amount of flour to loosen it slightly. Alternatively, you can let the dough sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften before using it in the cookie press.
