We talked last week about what we all put in our hostess packets...well what about for Catalog Shows...what do you all put in your catalog host packets?

Speaking of this...I noticed the new show planners don't talk about catalog shows. Do you guys usually put a show planner in the host packets for catalog shows? If so, will you still continue to put a show planner in their packet?

Carolyn..there are you!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD...YOU MISSED MY STRIPPER WALK!!!!!

I put everything that I put in cooking shows except the invitations and the seasons best.

I put in some different things for catalog shows - I'll attach what is in my Host Folders...again, none of it is original, just tweaked for my business!;)

You are welcome! I include the cover letter for them to attach to a catalog to pass around at work, etc....and the Catalog Host Bingo is something extra I do just for Cat. Hosts.... a few extra incentives to help them ask for orders! Since using that, and talking it over with the host - I've actually gotten a few bookings from Cat. Shows. I'm thinking of changing a square to say "Complete Info on each order form" or something like that.

Thanks for all the ideas on the catalog show packets...

Everytime I come onto this website I am amazed at the amount of terrific information! Just when I am thinking of doing something, I look here and someone already has and is eager to share.

THanks!!!!!!!

I do a lot of catalog shows and these tips will be terrific!!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are host packets and why are they important for catalog shows?

Host packets are essential tools provided to hosts for catalog shows. They typically include product catalogs, order forms, and promotional materials to help hosts effectively showcase products to their guests. These packets are important because they equip hosts with the necessary information and resources to encourage sales and engage their guests, ultimately leading to a successful show.

What must-have items should be included in a host packet?

A well-rounded host packet should include the following items: a current product catalog, a host rewards flyer, order forms, a wish list for guests, a sample of a popular product, and promotional materials such as recipes or cooking tips. Including these items helps hosts present the products effectively and motivates guests to make purchases.

How can I personalize host packets for different hosts?

Personalizing host packets can enhance the host's experience and increase engagement. You can tailor the contents based on the host's preferences, such as including recipes that align with their cooking style or featuring products that they love. Additionally, adding a personal note or tips based on previous shows can make the host feel valued and more prepared to succeed.

What strategies can I use to encourage hosts to utilize their packets effectively?

To encourage hosts to utilize their packets effectively, provide them with a brief training session on how to use the materials. Share tips on how to engage their guests, such as hosting a tasting party or demonstrating products. Additionally, follow up with hosts regularly to answer questions and offer support, reinforcing the importance of the host packet in achieving their show goals.

How can I measure the success of my host packets?

You can measure the success of your host packets by tracking the sales generated from each catalog show and gathering feedback from hosts. Ask hosts about their experience using the packets and which items they found most helpful. Analyzing this data will help you refine your host packets over time and ensure they are effective in driving sales.
