I am so sorry...they are beautiful babies!Kitchen Diva said:Ann, he is gorgeous! Your cat that is...
Gus and Weasel (in the picture/post after Gus's picture) were brothers/litter mates. Gus developed feline diabetes. We bought the best insulin, and did everything we were supposed to do, but sadly we had to put him down 5 months after he was diagnosed. His leg muscles developed atrophy, and he was walking on his wrists and dragging his hind legs behind him. I was devistated.
Weasel lasted 16 months after we put Gus down. He was so grief stricken that the vet let us put him out of his misery (way too early, he was only 9, and Gus was 8 when we put him down). It was the second most worst day in my life.
I'm a geek that way. I have been unable to have children, and Gus and Weasel were a gift from DH to keep me company while he went out of town for 3 weeks out of every month while he was still in the Air Force. I miss them terribly!
Camilla Bean is a fun cat- but so far she is nothing like the loveable, snuggable, kind, and fun cats that Gus and Weasel were. She's more of a diva...
Sorry for the Hi-jack of the thread...

When Ann E. posted that pic last week, I sent it to a few of my relatives. And my aunt sent a note back thanking me for the Peeps reminder. She likes hers a little hard (read, stale) so she opens the packages a week before she eats them. :yuck:
