ME TOO

I have tried and I can't get it to work right, I must be doing something wrong

What program are you using to send the mail?

When you creata new message...click on "to" or "cc"...then add your addresses under the "bcc".....but you will also have to put an address in the "to" spot as well. I usually just use mine....

clear as mud?

It's really going to depend on your email format and your provider.
For instance, at the top of mine, I have a box that says "TO:" and then a box that says "CC:", but over to the right hand side is a little link that says "Show BCC", when I click on that (Blind Carbon Copy), it pulls up another box. So, what I do is type my own email address in the "TO", and then everyone else I send my newsletter to in the "BCC" field.

HTH!!!

I use AOL for emails.

In aol all you have to do is put parentheses around the group of names. You can do either individual i.e. (1@glgl), (2@glgl) or as a group i.e. (1@glgl, 2@glgl)That will make it a blind cc

Frequently Asked Questions

What does "Blind Copy Your Email Addresses" mean?

"Blind Copy" or BCC is a feature in email that allows you to send an email to multiple recipients without them seeing each other's email addresses. This is useful for maintaining privacy and preventing unwanted replies.

Why should I use BCC when sending emails for Pampered Chef?

Using BCC when sending emails for Pampered Chef helps protect the privacy of your contacts. It prevents them from seeing the email addresses of other recipients, which is especially important in a direct sales context where personal information should be kept confidential.

How do I BCC recipients in my email?

To BCC recipients, open your email client and create a new message. Look for the "BCC" field, which is usually located near the "To" and "CC" fields. Enter the email addresses of your recipients in the BCC field, and then send your email as usual.

Can I still personalize my email if I use BCC?

While BCC is great for sending to multiple recipients without revealing their addresses, it limits personalization. To personalize emails, consider using email marketing tools that allow for individual greetings and tailored content while still managing privacy.

Is there a limit to how many email addresses I can BCC?

Yes, most email providers have a limit on the number of recipients you can BCC in a single email. This limit varies by provider, so it's best to check your email service's guidelines to avoid delivery issues.
