esavvymom said:you also get points for Promoting to SC - 1000 pts, TL - 3000 pts, Director - 6000 pts.
WIth the first trip (2011) - it's from Jan 1-July 31st earning period, and the points earned still count towards the 2012 trip.
ms_twana said:Thanks. I forgot all about the promoting points. Now I remember how earning a trip was so obtainable when our directors broke it down. YES!!!!
lockhartkitchen said:Thank you Ms Twana! I'm so excited. Two trip I'm earning this year. Who's with me? I need a minimum of 7 shows a month, and 8 new team members. I'll promote to director and wahoo!!!
Becca_in_MD said:Did everyone notice they increased the point and recruiting requirements for each level?
Becca_in_MD said:Sheila - you are so generous!!! Hope the good karma comes back to you.
I'm ready for the earning details. Last year there were not points for promoting as there had been in previous years. Last year they instituted the "paid as level" points. From what Jean and Marla said in the video, there will be promotion points as well as "paid as" points. With the changes to the career plan, this means a better opportunity to earn extra points.
Of course I would love the gold, but it's going to be a stretch to even get the silver.

Becca, they didn't increase the "sales" points of it, it's 56k points, but w/ an additional 2 recruit minimum, so that's where you are going to be making up the extra 4k points. Make sense? I had to look at it on paper before I figured that one out.

Sigh

Yes but think of the awesome things your team can do when they earn it. Plus if they are recruiting to earn the trip - here comes director! And more money!Malinda Klein said:I'm a Team Leader, and just barely made Toronto this year with 4 recruits!! I have new team members who are kicking themselves who are so amazed and are kicking themselves for not starting sooner!!!
I am starting my 3rd year and it only gets better and better...

Becca_in_MD said:My husband's reaction to the announcement? "You know how I feel about cruises." He has no interest in trying one, while I have been dying to go on one since I was a kid and watched "The Love Boat" every Sat. night. Hello, I'm Julie McCoy, your cruise director. He has lived and traveled in Europe so would be willing to do that one, which is not likely to happen. It did provide me with the opportunity to tell him what I would have to do, ie. # of shows/week and his reaction was that I wouldn't be able to do anything else in my life. I told him it would be like having a full-time job. Hmm, what a concept
I've already planted the seed that if I earn the Bronze level cruise that I would take my 2 girlfriends and make it our annual girls' weekend. The 3 of us could split the buy-in cost for the 1 person. Nothing says you have to take an uninterested or unsupportive spouse.
I don't know anything about the Honduran port of call on the Silver cruise. Anyone? That cruise sounds like 3 days at sea and 2 ports of call.

Yes the Disney trip had a Level 1 gift option incentive. I think it was your pick of 2 lower priced items from a list or 1 of a higher priced item. I'm sure that's the year I got DH his grill but it seems so long ago now!kreaser said:I just pulled up the eligibility requirements for New Orleans
here is what it says:
Eligibility:
The Taste of Travel incentive program is for all who join or hold the title of Consultant, Senior Consultant
or Team Leader on or following Jan. 1, 2011. You are not eligible if you have earned the annual incentive
award (whether you traveled or took the alternate award). If you earned Level One in a past annual
incentive, you are eligible for Taste of Travel (as long as you hold the title of Consultant, Senior
Consultant or Team Leader on Jan. 1, 2011).
To me this says if you earned the first level of an incentive trip in the past, you can still earn New Orleans!! as long as you are at one of these titles as of 1/1/11
Can anyone remember if the Disney trip had a level below the 1st level of the disney earning? One of my consultants earned the first level of Disney but this sounds like she should be able to earn New Orleans now too? Correct? she is currently a TL...
As far as I know you cannot buy in anyone who is not a dependent child.Becca_in_MD said:My husband's reaction to the announcement? "You know how I feel about cruises."
