Bridal Shower for My Sister...i'm the Host and Consultant

Thank you Beth. I was planning to not put myself as the host anyway since I am giving her all of the benefits, and you don't make commission off your own order. Off topic, but where in NC are you from?

How to Encourage Early Mother's Day Trifle Bowl Orders?

I was actually thinking the same thing. I have a show on Friday that the lady is closing on Friday just because she wants to make sure she will get her order here by Mother's Day.

$1,000+ Phone Order! - Help Me Figure This Out!

I completely agree with all of the above. I am a manipulator for my hosts (WOW, that sounds really terrible, but of course I mean I manipulate their order in P3), but in this case, I would put in her entire order as the order and then tell her that her free product value is "x" and she gets 4...

Sheila...I'm loving your ideas! Knowing my sister, she could get pretty embarrassed with the 2nd game, but I think it sound hilarious!!! Keep the ideas coming!!!

Bridal Shower for My Sister...i'm the Host and Consultant

I am planning a bridal shower for my sister in May. This will be my first bridal shower, so I'm kind of flying blind here! I am going to be the host and the consultant for the shower, so I have double the work!!! The shower is going to be outside making a demo a little difficult, and to be...

Help Me Decide What to Get for My First Cooking Show

Definitely the Salad Choppers. They are one of my favorite and most versatile items and one of my best sellers. I would also have to get the Mix N Chop!!! I would personally do the Trifle Bowl as a personal order and get the discounted price. I would also recommend the entire set of the Easy...

Quick and Easy Pasta Bake Recipe in the DCB - Ready in Just 30 Minutes!

One of the first things I did in my DCB (before I was a consultant) was similar to this. I used ground beef, 1 small onion and 2-3 cloves of garlic. Cooked 7 minutes until beef was cooked. Added a box of penne noodles, 1 jar marinara sauce, and about 2 cups V8 juice. Cooked 10 minutes, stir...

Just Got a Call About a Spring Fling

Thanks....I should have mentioned that my sister is going to probably go with me to help, so she will most likely man the jewelry table, and I will be there to answer any questions about composition, etc. So, technically, that should not be violating the agreement since I will have another...

Just Got a Call About a Spring Fling

A friend just called me to see if I would be interested in setting up a table at her daughter's school Spring Fling in a few weeks. I jumped on it (it's only $25, and I can bring my own tables and be as big or small as I want). I also make and sell jewelry as a hobby, so I'm going to do a...

Recipe Suggestion for a Big Crowd

Do you used the DCB for your demos, and do you have a rice cooker? I have a recipe that I thought was on CC that I got from my director. It is for Black Bean Salsa Chicken. It feeds a ton, is wonderful, looks fantastic on the large bamboo platter (hello, March special!!!!) and is a huge crowd...

Wow...you did awesome! And I agree with the others....sharing your accomplishments just lets us celebrate with you. Also, if you had not shared, we would not have the opportunity to learn what worked for you. I am definitely taking away some great ideas from your success story. As I was...

    Chipotle Cornbread Bake Question

I thought this was confusing as well. I figured it out, but I opted to put the onions (except for those reserved for garnish) in with my ground beef and peppers. I liked it better that way, but it's probably just a personal preference.
