that did not submit until today, but I submitted it under August date, it will still credit me for august correct?

I know I should know this, but I am so tired and can't think straight.

thanks!

Yes, when you submit it you need to select what month.

Maybe I'm confused. Yes, you choose a month when you submit a show, but if it isn't received by the HO by midnight on the last day of the month, the commission goes on the next month (in this case, the commission for the August show will be paid with the September commissions). Right? Also, I believe that "held and submitted" means that a show must be received by the HO by midnight on the last day of the month to be eligible for incentives. Can someone tell me if I have this right, or am I misunderstanding something?

You're correct. The month the show is submitted is the month the consultant's commission will be based on but the date the show is dated is the month the host and guest specials will be based on. And if a requirement for the current incentive is held and submitted then the show has to be submitted in the same month it was dated or it won't count for the consultant incentive.

HTH,

That's how I understood it as well.

If I have it right, that also means if anyone wants a last last chance at discontinued items, we can submit orders until the end of the month with August 31 dates while supplies last. Which is good...because if I earn all this stoneware, I may want those lids! I wonder why they got rid of them?

Theory on Lids

My theory on the lids is that a lot a people have absolutely fallen in love with Press-N-Seal, eliminating the need for this type of lid. And if you need to cover while still hot, tin foil works great. In this day and age of "necessity" verses "nicety", a $15 lid is definitely a "nicety" in a lot of minds.

Personally, I love the round lid for the deep dish baker, but the rectangle lid never fit right.

I was just more worried about going inactive. I had a very small show in August, and just got payment for some outside orders that I had added on--so the show was in august, but I couldn't submit till last night

so will that end up counting or will I still go inactive since I couldn't get it in before the 31st?

thanks girls!

I couldn't stand either lid. I had the hardest time getting the rectangle lid on. IF you were going to take the dish somewhere and you wanted it really hot, then forget the lid. You would burn yourself trying to get it on. I had the unglazed Deep Dish Baker, and my lid wad too big for it. Didn't go on tight at all!! I ended up selling it.

If you had a total of $200 in sales in July and August together you didn't go inactive.

Then in September you would have to have $200 in sales combined with the August sales to continue to remain active.

If you had no sales in July and less than $200 in August you did go inactive.

If on September 1 you went inactive and then you placed $200 in sales, you reactive at that time.

Think of it this way:
Sales for this month + the prior month must equal $200. If they don't you go inactive and then you would need to submit $200 in ONE month to reactivate.

Sales for an August show that are submitted in September are counted as September sales for you even though they are August for the specials.
